The stats on the NSWPL website make for some interesting reading. If you only read this forum, you'd think that the poor old Spartans were constantly targetted and bullied by other teams. I recall batfink calling BWE, United and Olympic quite rough in the past
However, according to the stats on the NSWPL website, the Spartans are by far the dirtiest side if you take cards as an indicator
40 yellows, 7 reds. That's the most yellow cards (only APIA match that with the next closes side being Manly on 35) as well as the most reds (4 is the next closest)

Don't take this personally Batfink. It's nothing about your lad himself but about the style fartans play. More a reflection of the coaching style being applied.
My opinion of watching NSWPL sides is that fartans play a local park scrapper type game. Punt it up in the mixer and hope for scrappy goals. This is evident if you watch all the goals fartans score. There is nothing constructive about their gameplay. I cannot stand watching a fartans game. It's just plain horrible to watch.
Blacktown City on the other hand, slick, stylish, constructive, fluent. Good coaching and stylishly appointed ;)

means nothing......most cards are dished out for retaliating so i defend the players for showing some grit...... pretty safe to say that the refereeing is not up to scratch....... the interesting reading is when you players act like halfwitts at ovals and abuse spectators and have idea about acting professional.....;) ;) keep fishing mate....your going to have to do better than that.....](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Right, so when a Spartans player retaliates it's "showing grit". Personally, I'd call it unprofessional.
I'm not fishing mate. Just stating facts. 40 yellows, 7 reds.
Are you claiming that all those reds are for retaliation? Whichever way you look at it, sounds like there's a disciplinary problem over at the Spartans.

From recent match reports:
Kato sent off in the shadows of the break for a reckless late challenge on Themba Muata-Marlow
Zac Freeburn needlessly take out a Wolves defender deep in the opposition’s own half
Doesnt sound like retaliation to me.

You must be watching a different game. Fartans are bloody horrible. I'd rather eat glass than pay to watch them. In fact they should pay me to attend their matches. Will raise the IQ of the overall spectator by 100 points :p I don't arse lick. Your confusing me with Olympic fans. Wait for it..... Is that where I went wrong? I should of jizzed on Schembri's face a few times :-k Ah well history now old fella

Now your getting desperate batfink. Pulling a goal from round 10 by Luke Austin who played for city last season and went AWOL mid season.
Now come on mate. Who's kissing butt now? If de haan bent over I'd bet he would have your lipstick all over his arse. Not doing a bad job of kissing butt yourself old mate.
City never fucked us over. My lad was simply not good enough. The proof of that was he was rejected by around 7 clubs and 2 of those were NSWPL2 sides. They can't all be wrong. We were just grateful for the time he did spend at city last season and they put up with us all year.
Indeed Rooney and Miya are excellent players. No disputing that. But by the same token without saliadarre saving fartans butts week in week out you guys would get pumped by 10 goals every week. You cannot dispute that fact.

I don't disagree. Very unprofessional, not once have I disagreed with that. Then again, I don't run around claiming every side we play is rough/dirty or that we're angels What am I "dribbling" about? I've stated facts - Spartans have by far the most yellow and red cards in the league. Don't shoot the messenger

Fartans are local park scrappers and until this changes finals footy is many years away.
6 points? More like 6 points and 60 years difference :)

That's a crap analogy and you actually prove my point with it. Stats show that there are many shootings in Sydney, this makes Sydney the worst city in Australia for gun crime. No question there Stats show that the Spartans the most yellow and red cards, by far. Therefore, we can conclude that they're the dirtiest team in the same way that Sydney is the most dangerous city We're not talking 1 or 2 cards, we're talking about 3 more red cards than the next closes club. They've also got significantly more yellows than everyone other than APIA. Not rocket science. But feel free to blame the refs, other players, other clubs, opposition fans etc. Everyone but your own players and coaching staff. Keep pointing the finger at other teams too, if it helps you sleep at night

If you take Austin and Kondek out of the equation there is litte to complain about......but hey knock yourself out.....;)

Come on Batfink!!
The difference between City and Fartans is a massive class factor.
If you read the trial forms for both clubs Question 15 on the forms,
For city it asks "Does your mum work at Hooters and have a modelling contract?"
For Fartans it asks" Does your mum have all her teeth, flat top head and is 3ft tall? If so what days does she put her dole form in"
