Yeah Stama is injured. He would have been perfect to come in and replace Paric at half time to add some steel to the midfield
Our two centre mids copping yellows in the opening 5 minutes really softened us up in the centre of the park.
Our second 45 was arguably our worst of the season. Full credit to BWE though, they made it tough for us and deserved the win
If we win the catch up and get our 3 points back we'll still be ahead of them and in the running for the Premiership... obviously neither is a guarantee

sydneycroatia58 wrote:Cracking 4-1 win today, second half especially, almost completely dominant. Great volley by Tricky followed up with a 2nd half hat-trick from Glavas who now has just 4 goals to beat Arnie's club record. Puts us now just 1 pt behind Sutho with a huge game against Bonnyrigg next week, and almost as importantly now put us 6pts ahead of 4th and 8 ahead of 5th.
Only downside being the serious looking knee injury to Chris Triantis, looked in a fair amount of pain. I watched the highlights how he fell, I believe is the combination of synthetic pitch and boots he is wearing, players on synthetic pitches have to wear boots with shorter studs, blades are big no. Wish him well and speedy recovery. SC58 could you confirm what boots was he wearing and what studs?

Definitely one of the positives from this year after his knee reco last season It wasn't his best game on Sunday... but, in his defence, the whole team was poor.

United 3 def Olympic 2
Half time Olympic 2 nil up
Olympic stopped playing in the 2nd half and United scored 3 second half goals even with United playing with 10 men for most of the 2nd half
Olympic simply ran out of players
Demetriou injured Markovic gone overseas trials Angel suspended Elrich injured Studman injured
Williams injured last 20 minutes
Wont mention the 5 players who have left us HAYDAR MARKYS Gianarros Salamah Bakousir
Thought we could of have a 2nd penalty in the 2nd half but wasnt given
United did enought to win the game Massive improvement needed to challenge Sutherland and Bonnyrigg
Having seen United play last 2 weeks Good to see the United Ultras making some noise

I thought you guys weren't in the game until you jagged a lucky goal from a set piece. From there you guys looked comfortable and we looked a bit stunned
Then second half we slowly worked our way into it... Stama's goal lifted the boys a bit and Speersy's tackle did the rest.
I'd like to think that our support gave them a bit extra as well 8)
From where I was standing, it looked like Reddy stood his ground and the Olympic player looked for the penalty. Would have been very soft had it been given. First one was a clear penalty though

Thought if he stayed on his feet he would of scored
So Triantis out for six months minimum
Rudan Bilokapic must of gave them a talking to at half time
Any news with the 3 points your guys lost due to Reddy playing
Interesting to see want happens if BONNY AND united meet in semi a final this year or grant final

Then why did you mention them? For about the fifth time in this thread...lol We all get it, they've moved on, your sides depleted. On that basis, good effort to go 2 nil up against united.

6 months is a dream scenario. 9-12 months is more realistic unless he goes with the LARS implant. I believe that recovery time for them is anywhere between 3-6 months. Rudes was out the back having a smoke at half time  I dont think a hearing date has been set for the appeal yet

Looks like Olympic is out of the finals race. Who else will follow today or will it end up going down to the final round...
If blacktown lose, suns are safe, if Marconi win, they're safe. 2 big games to go. And if united do get points deducted, it certainly blows open the bottom 3 spots of the 5.
When will the united points deduction be settled. Surely over the next few days...

We've already lost the 3 points. Result of our appeal should be know this week
If it gets overturned we'll go into the final round on top by one point
