Shame I couldn't make the game. :( ~1100 there too apparently, shame they saw a 5-0 smacking because everything else looked fantastic and Wolves look the real deal off the pitch after all the sad times that have been since 2004! Also shame their jersey is fking woeful, better kits running around the 3rd tier =; Proper football! No fancy-smansy plastic modern rubbish, just people that love the game and a class venue worthy of the praise, fantastic! Can't wait to head to a game soon [-o< [-o< Edited by 4wanderer4: 21/3/2014 01:06:03 AM Agreed, but at least the Wolves are back in red shirts. They've had some strange kits for the last few years.

0-0 away to Rockdale... probably a fair result on the balance of play. We probably had the better chances while Rockdale probably had a few more 50/50 chances
We had a goal disallowed and Speersy missed an open goal from the 6 yard. Much better performance than last week but still need a lot of improvement
I thought Stama was our best and young Tomelic had a good performance on his return from NYL

Manly 1-2 BWE
The game was OK, glad we came away with the win.... Aleks and Chunny scored (screamer)
Alot of improvement needed.... Still no Mitch Long/Aaron Peterson
Big game next week..... Sydney United vs BWE

Big game next week..... Sydney United vs BWE You blokes are catching us at the right time. We're still far from where we should be with a few key players out. Tomic should be back though so that's a big boost for us Quite happy with our performance yesterday, huge improvement on last week with half the starting line up being under 20. Tomelic, Kofinas, Cindric, Bilic, Segarra. Not sure how old Pavlak is, but he'd be in early 20s at most. Promising performance with the likes of Mileski, Tomic and Haydar expected back over the coming weeks. I think Pava is expected back in a few weeks as well. He will be a huge boost

Remember in 2012 when we dominated every game up until Round 6 and you had our arses on a platter and won 3-1 i think it was ? These are boogey games We aren't playing good, our defence is leaky and shaky due to the loss of Vuko Tomasevic, massive loss at the back while upfront we are at a loss due to no Long/Peterson, i think Ilic will be playing on Sunday Our bench is good, all young 20s players, all are quite inexperienced though Edited by srbin22: 24/3/2014 12:39:43 PM

Who cares want last night crowd was between Olympic vs Spartans
Anyone who is keen can come to the game in 2 weeks time and you can tell us want the crowd is
Olympic vs ST George be there
The canteen made a Huge killing
Any publicity is good publicity even if its true or not we have people talking about it We might get some curious people to come to the game in 2 weeks time
Made me happy seing articles in the Sydney Morning or Telegraph or fox sports news
People need to realise there isnt much diference between the a league and the nsw premier league
Im happy with the football forum all talking about Olympic FFA the a League clubs will be in a surprise when they play us

Big game next week..... Sydney United vs BWE what are the ticket purchasing requirements for BWE supporters? I take it will be same as last season, eg we have to go King Tom give in ID same as you boys had to with us, this is the best solution.... Clubs don't want opposition supporters coming Heard that a proposition was put forward for open gates, with all BWE supporters being situated behind the goal opposite the seats but wasn't agreed to

impressive win by Marconi last night 3-0 over manly. two from two for the stallions. the matches so far prove what a tough comp it is. all teams can win on their day. again, it shows the quality of the competition.

From what I've seen of the other NPL leagues, NSW is still comfortably better and I expect the 4 NSW clubs that make the FFA Cup last-32 to do the best of the state clubs. Feels like the state comp has so much more buzz around it now though, with Wollongong, olympic and Apia getting some great crowds and all clubs now playing in great venues! Exciting season!

Partly relevant, I'd like to see young up and coming fringe HAL players spend a winter at the NPL. Eg, at Sydney it could be the likes of Calver, Themba, Petkovski, Caton, Naumoff, McDonald and Urosevski. Could round out their football education nicely and help raise the level and depth of the NPL.
