Just want to give a shout out to Sydney Soccer Stories on Facebook. It's an ex-player who played his football at state league level re-visiting some of the old grounds and recounting his memories as well as the state of the grounds today, as well as some reports on the games he went to watch.

I was only old enough to remember the last few years of the NSL but i did get a chance to go out to many of these grounds following my brother around and it's got me in the mood to try and visit each home ground of all NSW state league clubs next season (ground-hopping style). For now i'll have to satisfy myself with some of the local state league and ffa cup games in Western Sydney.
