but rockdale will have to go out to get the 3 points, as a draw wont be enough... Wolves are pretty much guaranteed 3 points at home to Marconi.
marconi have everything to play for. wont be as easy as some people might think. i see the holiday makers are back in town, why did mileski play 20's whilst giannaros play first grade? i thought mileski was one of your best all year before he went overseas. surprised with that. i wasn't there on the weekend, so no idea. I know we lack a lot of players in defence, whereas in midfield we are ok, perhaps that's why.

I missed the 20s match but heard he went off early due to injury. Sounds like Rudes made the right call. In regards to Giannaros, I assume he came back in better shape and when you combine that with how short we are at the back it's no surprise he came straight back in. He actually had his best performance for us but Olympic will be a much bigger test than Marconi. Marconi have everything to play for but they didnt show much on Sunday. They'll need to step up if they're going to take any points. I think they're going to be caught in a dilemma over trying to stack their 20s for some points there and saving players for first grade. I read that one of their strikers played full games in both 20s and seniors on Sunday. I dont believe BWE will throw the match. They'll want to lock in 3rd place and I doubt Brown and his squad care too much about the rivalry with United

The fact that Rockdale are in much better form going into the semis and more of a threat is another reason why BWE would prefer to knock out Rockdale and give us/SC the chance to get into the 5

Regardless of all these if's and buts etc. we still have to beat Olympic away, which I cannot see us doing.

We've won 2 games in the second half of the season - both against the bottom two sides. That's just not acceptable. We dont deserve to be in the semis.

Man, confidence must be at an all time low at Edensor Park if you think Bonnyrigg will toy with the notion of HELPING Sydney United get into the finals.

I didnt say they're helping us to get into the finals. I said they want 3rd spot and wouldnt be bothered if it meant us having a crack at getting into the 5 with our atrocious form.

Rockdale still going through based on current standings. Manly currently down 1-0 to Melita and still 0-0 in the Sydney United and South Coast games.

Rockdale capitulate against Bonnyrigg, South Coast struggling to score against 10 man Marconi, so yes of course we're losing to Olympic.

South Coast up 1-0, so they're now into 5th place with 15mins left.
