Sydney FC defeat Western Suburbs 4-1 at Leichhardt Oval in the NPL2 Grand Final. Sydney FC have cleanswept the NPL2 this season. Premiership, Club Championship, Grand Final, and obviously promotion. 

Charles Lokolingoy is going to be fantastic in the coming years for us! 

But will he be able to do it in the NPL 1 ? 

I watched him last week against Mt Druitt Town Rangers and he looked good. Held up the ball well, brought his teammates into the game and seemed like a good finisher. However, does he have the ability to beat players at the top level like Fornaroli does in the A-league? I didn't see it and if he wants to go beyond the NPL/A-league, he'll need to develop that part of his game.

As a neutral NPL supporter i am excited that the A league are starting to give some young players a shot at the big time. Choi and Tratt will cement their spots on those rosters having watched a lot of them this season.

Nikas needs another shot as well as i can rattle off at least 6 teams that need a playmaker!

theres quite a few leaving united from what ive heard: uskok, tratt, taneski, froggiganos, bosnar, and maybe a couple of others.  the new coach im told is targetting some younger players.

Uskok is meant to move back to melbourne, but i am hearing he is staying for another year. i could be wrong.
Taneski has been below par for us, no surprise the club will let him go.

These are all whispers at the moment and nothing 100% confirmed.

Bought two tickets the other night, and the seating section in the grandstand was completely sold out. 

The fact that it's forecast to rain for the rest of the day and all night probably isn't helping either. It's times like these I remind myself to buy one of those Sydney FC windbreaker rain jackets. 

Yeh we signed Elasi, was pretty quiet last season so will need to prove himself again.

I have seen Nikas and Stava at our club a couple times the last few weeks, not 100% sure of what they want or what the club is offering them but would welcome them back with open arms. As much as it would be good to see him back I still feel he deserves a go at A-League.

Also we have resigned a few of our players from last season including: Denham, Da Silva, Littler, Taku, Kajiama, McStay and Gordon. A solid building block to start off with.

Figon and Moustakas released with Figon signing with Rockdale.  

We have signed back Ante Tomic from Parramatta. 

Not 100% confirmed but looks like we will snap up Nick Olsen from APIA.

The rumours / news never stops at Sydney Croatia - Its is always like Ray Hadley's 2GB morning talkback program ..

1.I also heard the news Rudan is packing his bags and leaving.
2. What I have heard he whats to join Ufuk Talay as an assistant with the young socceroos.
3. I think personally it he should stay until he wins a grand final - He is basically following the footsteps of Ante Milicic.
4.Can the new coach Davor Bajsic produce the goods - Time will tell or is this all rumour - bullshit talk or Rudan will stay another year.
5. It looks like we going for another clean up.... 

Its not 100% official yet, but looks like Rudan has decided to leave (has won everything but the GF) ... Either he will have a break from coaching or take up the gig with the young socceroos. His replacement will be Davor Bajsic.

The core of the squad are staying from reports, however i do believe Mileski is retiring.

a fair few there although if uskok, the two jap boys, nikas, stav and payne stay - the main guys i suppose are there.

Uskok is staying for one more year apparently.
Yanni is staying, only triantis and kofinas leaving.
nikas, stava, trifiro, payne, manos, bilic, paric, shin, etc all staying from what i've heard, then add Olsen, tomic and i am sure a couple more in the coming months.

not much turnover from this season. dylan off to manly, makrillos to olympic, and tanoski leaving.
