No AFL player knows how to goal keep.
The AFL doesn't have internationals... And no Soccer player knows how to bounce an oval ball correctly...what's your point. They play gealic Internationals with Ireland and don't need a squashed ball Exactly. They play a hybrid game internationally. Not AFL.

Isn't 'tagging' in AFL a reflection on the said tagger's lack of ability? I mean, if they were good enough wouldn't they be the one's being tagged?

Edited by Funky Munky: 5/2/2013 06:12:57 PM It's a bit different. Bouncing a ball is one set skill. Goalkeeping is a combination of many skills.

The point is, you can't just say "AFL players don't know how to do this". Of course they don't. They're playing a sport that doesn't require those skills. You can say that about any sportsman in the world, compared to any other number of sports they don't play.

You don't necessarily have to have good ball-handling skills to be successful in that sport. Take your monocle off.

Anyway, back on topic, GWS memberships for 2013 are now at 8,422 more than 2 months out from the start of the AFL season, and now looking very likely to overtake last year's figure of 10,241. http://membership.gwsgiants.com.au/

It would be back on topic if Wanderers and the various League teams memberships were mentioned as well. You seem to keep forgetting that part.

NO ONE IS INTERESTED! If you are only going to post AFL related information, do it int he AFL thread! None of these figures has anything to do with 'the code battle in Sydney's west'.
