SFC last year were ~8000 and set a goal of 10k for one off-season and smashed it. Heart nice jump and is that now your biggest ever? WD Adelaide. Everyone is just smashing it along! :D

Can somebody please post the source for this latest Roar news? No doubting you, just haven't seen anything on any of Roar's official Social Media pages. And with the Jets too - Where did people get the 9,500 figure? Was it the counter at the HSG Shop again?
Mind you, IF Brisbane have or are about to pass 7k, then no doubt they will inevitably announce so soon, within coming days, with the fanfare we expect in relation to their '$10k410k' initiative and the winner of $1k for every next thousandth member milestone they pass.
And with Jets surely only a few hundred off the magical 10k mark, they too will SURELY announce something in that regard, despite how relatively quiet they have been, in promoting how their memberships have tracked.
BTW Amazing timing from Adelaide Reds, just when Burztur and I were discussing it!

I find it hard to believe that the Victory counter hasn't moved for 2 weeks. We need to get an update from the club or twitter.

Great for jets considering a poor start... Just tweeted victory and Perth to get an update: Victory replied straight away saying an official announcement is coming soon... Should be 22k! Perth hopefully will reply... You'd think they should have a big jump considering their first home game was last week, and sydney this week after a first up home win. Not to mention, big willy's signing! I reckon they would be 5.5k easy by now but we will wait and see...
I'm sure mariners have passed 5.5k by now also... Hasn't been updated in weeks and a good start to the season

Jets pass 10,000 Members Wednesday, 30 October 2013 3:07 PM The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have signed up their 10,000th Member in the lead-up to Saturday’s F3 Derby clash with the Central Coast Mariners at Hunter Stadium. It is the third straight season that the Jets have passed the 10,000 Member milestone. Community Reserved Members Scott Marshall and his children Fin and Sophie took the tally past five digits when they signed up on Tuesday. “My son plays football and he’s really into it, so I thought it was a good opportunity for us as a family to get to some games and support the Jets,” Marshall said. “We’re really looking forward to the weekend’s game against the Mariners. “It will be good to see how we go against one of the top teams in the competition and it’s always good to beat your local rivals.” It is not too late to join the 10,000 other Jets supporters who have chosen to STAND WITH US and become a Jets Member for the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season. Newcastle Jets Membership packages are undisputedly the most affordable in the Hyundai A-League competition. Jets supporters can secure a reserved seat at the Jets 13 remaining home matches with an Adult Community Reserved Membership valued at $130. General Admission Memberships are available for $120 for adults and $60 for juniors, while a family (two adults, one junior) can watch the Jets for an entire season for as little as $255. With ticket prices for individual matches last season starting at $22 per match for Adults and $8 per match for juniors, purchasing a Jets Membership is once again be the most cost effective way to support the Jets in 2013/14. All Members will receive a cap, membership card, lanyard, key ring, magnetic fixture list, bumper sticker pack and a $10 Merchandise voucher. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/newcastlejets/news-display/Jets-pass-10000-Members/77673?

Jets doing well off the field, once again. The count not looking soo bad after-all AND once the Jets pick up 'on' the field (Hopefully via return of Heskey), hopefully it will reward these patient and loyal fans and may even entice more to the fold, especially in regards to actual attendees to the ground. And yes, whether that's with GVE at the helm or another, hopefully they pick their season up and give the fans and even the club, some cause for optimism! 4wanderer4 wrote:Anyone happen to have any idea what Wellingtons' best-ever membership total was? IIRC They may've 'already' passed it, with their present mark? Not even sure if their previous record surpassed 3k tbh, so once they passed that threshold it may've been 'new territory' for Phoenix? Either way, '4k' = absolutely confirmed 'new club record territory' as the Phoenix, like a number of other A-League clubs (Roar, SFC, Mariners, AU etc) 'naturally' set goals which were actually marks beyond their present records to varying degrees. And... TheSelectFew wrote:Fuck Wellington Off! Cant even get 4k! ...they are only a few hundred off 4k, especially now as that figure was announced a few weeks ago now. They'll achieve 4k and next season they can set 5k or more as their target - which is getting nearer to the level of 'similar markets' like the Mariners and even 'larger markets' like Glory. AND Melbourne Victory are doing quite well but they're STILL just less than 2k of their own goal - albeit they may be a few hundred closer now. So they're far from the only ones yet to meet/exceed their own stated targets... AND atleast they have one! Glory and Heart - we've got no idea! ](*,) Edited by gloryperth: 4/11/2013 03:20:35 AM

FTR Does anybody know what the membership record for Heart is? I PRESUME that Heart have either exceeded their previous club record or more likely, are not far from exceeding it? I also presume Hearts' membership count has not exceeded 7k before - therefore should it's present counter surpass 7k, then it will surely be a new club record for members? Schultzy wrote:^ on the above I see 17/18 as a key target. I think it is when we will see another two teams and also a potentially huge jump in tv revenue. Those figures are definitely achievable the way we are going.
From an adelaide point of view my dream is to see us with 10k season tickets and 14-15k average to push for new stadium/upgrade. But hell I've been saying that for 5 years... AU clearly share that dream Schultzy - A fellow AU fan posted a while ago (Was it you?) that AU stated their membership target as being the unlikely, 10k! ;) :o  Obviously that will take a while of sustained, incremental, growth. But it's not as 'out there' as some may think I guess - Especially as they push past 6k at the moment? :-k And indeed, should they push 9-10k members, then AU could become the next, 'Wanderers-like' franchise in terms of scarcity of capacity, so that SHOULD boost 'the floor' of their crowds for ALL games and too ensure more 'sell outs' for the bigger drawing games. But may also have the ironic effect of moving more games to Adelaide Oval too? But hopefully no more than 2.
