Man City have too many of these attacking mids. That does leave a gap but then theyve got 3 CBs ffs. Ireland is a great young talent. Hes got a great shot on him. Hes scored many goals like that one. As for the free kick, shite wall, hes left footed 20 metres out on a great angle, what the fuck else is he gonna do? Gerrards crosses and corners have been crap. everyones getting caught on the ball. Torres is absolutely shite in general play, every time i see him play or pick the ball up i think hes gonna overhit it. Hes only good at putting the thing in the back of the net. Riera has been decent, he chops in and out really sharply and i love watching his left boot go through the ball. Looks awesome, hes so dynamic. Taking Torres or Gerrard off for keane might be what we need. Its pretty outlandish but it could work. Otherwise taking kuyt off or alonso and dropping gerrard back into CM. Dunno why Rafa hasnt gone with Dossena on the left he could keep up with SWP.
