United were helped somewhat by a very harsh penalty against Upson but mostly by how Vidic stayed on the pitch. I'm still trying to figure out how such a card happy referee like Lee Mason didn't manage to send him off.

Green's keeping displays are aweful. Wouldn't trust him to open a bank account.

And Vidic could easily have been sent off (jeeze, seems like every second week we say that) - especially with Mason in charge, the man's shown more red cards than most of the other refs put together and his fucking wiki page is him dishing out a red card! And that penalty was soft as. United got lucky.

The guys screaming for Vidic to be sent, it isn't anything to do with the last man, it is if it is a clear scoring opportunity. Our keeper had the ball in his hands. And if you are going to argue the fact that Cole is as quick as Usain Bolt, how about his tug on Vidic that pulled him back and forced Vidic to get the wrong side, no foul there?

A fully deserved win and a great comeback. Not being arrogant but was never really worried, I would have taken the draw at 2v0 down but we were always getting a result.
