He stepped back into him what the fuck is eboue supposed to do he can't fucking dissapear. Lucas was moving forward mate... Eboue is the idiot, clattered into the back of him when he was going nowhere. Deserved pen. That is just an absolutely flabbergasting game. Similar to the Champs League peno when Toure was over the back of Babel

It really is funny seeing so many journos saying Dalglish's abuse of Wenger was brilliant, yet they champion the "respect" campaign.

sydneycroatia58 wrote:It really is funny seeing so many journos saying Dalglish's abuse of Wenger was brilliant, yet they champion the "respect" campaign. Respect campaign, is about mutual respect for each other, not agreeing with each other over referring decisions ... what has Wenger to achieve to bitch to Dalglish about it? Quote:1811: As Sam says below, there were a few afters between the managers as Arsene Wenger approached Kenny Dalglish at the full-time whistle, an approach that was ended in no uncertain terms by some rather anglo-saxon language from the Scot. Wenger then approached Marriner to continue his protests - but the Frenchman can have no complaints, it was definitely a foul on Lucas, just as it was a definite foul on Fabregas earlier.

It was going to happen regardless of Arsenal winning tonight or not, that's reality... celebrating a deserved point is more like it... how about you deflect your anguish somewhere else like your arse

Don't give a shit what another team does - I'll cheer on my team no matter what
And Kenny had a dig because Arsene walked up to him And was winging about the pen.

It's also interesting to know where the extra 4 minutes came from. It's not like we were celebrating for 4 mins. Play resumed after our penalty just as it ticked over to 98 mins.

Oh I see, so that makes it okay to tell someone to "fuck off" then?

8 minutes of stoppage time, add another minute for van Persie whipping his shirt off, Liverpool won the free kick on 99 minutes, Suarez took the FK around 110, penalty given, a whole lot of protests and Eboue looking like a broken sod... Kuyt scores around 101-102.... so there was alot of time lining up the free kick and penalty... if van Persie didn't get his shirt off Arsenal probably would have held on

Oh I see, so that makes it okay to tell someone to "fuck off" then? he was probably right in saying so... Wenger probably dropped a few lines like cheat, and didn't deserve the point etc etc so why shouldn't Kenny tell him where to stick it, Wenger shouldn't have taken his grievances to Dalglish in the first place

TBPH he should have blown the whistle as soon as Suarez hit the fk into the wall.

If times up, times up, tough titties if it's a goal scoring situation. That's just a myth that the referee has to let the attack finish, when in actual fact he doesn't have to let shit finish. You said yourself that time was up once Suarez missed the fk, in which case he should have blown for ft.

The only way you keep the clock running is if you are waiting for a penalty kick to be taken. Tis the rules. *cue afro coming in and saying it isn't*

On a lighter note, only Arsenal can score a goal in the 98th minute and it's still to early to celebrate:lol:

Lol at Fabregas doing a 360 after the slightest touch, what a pansy.
Wenger can't complain but will anyway. Crap match that got good late on.

Kenny was obviously angry because Wenger was being a sore loser and acting like he didnt deserve the point, so he was telling him to fuck off. Nothing wrong.

It may not be written into the rules of the game, but your kidding yourself that it isn't a factor that the referee takes into account with timekeeping

It shouldn't be though. It doesn't even matter - the extra added time was correctly given.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew: "It is a fixture I genuinely believe Sir Alex will be very wary of. Maybe not so much because he fears us as a team, but because he fears the ground and the reaction it can inspire the team to. For example, the Arsenal game."
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson: "The Premier League and the Champions League are the two priorities at this club. Everybody knows when you go to Newcastle you have to deal with the atmosphere up there. They have fantastic supporters and you know they will be on your backs."
And in the 1st minute Krul pulls off a magnificent save.
