Wow. I think Drogba is out cold. I thought he was diving at first but the way he fell... shit.

Very harsh red. Ramires wasn't going to score, wasn't a clear goal scoring chance. And he barely touched him. He was already falling into it.

No doubt it was a penalty, but how on earth is that a red card when there is a Norwich defending covering the goal.

Really not sure how you can give a red card for that. Ruddy so unfortunate

I really don't think that was a penalty. It wasn't as if Samba was climbing all over him. More a case of Samba just coming down on Fellaini which he really can't avoid.

Can't believe we're coming away with the points after that, Blackburn deserved three points there but I'm stoked we got it in the end but we really need to pick up our performances, especially after last week vs QPR

Another shoddy, uninventive, uninspired performance from Sunderland, actually making Swansea look like they possess and attacking threat.
On the positive side we ended the game with a big man up front (Wickham) and a left footer on the left wing (Richardson).
I'd like to know where Gyan's first touch, instinct and pace have gone during the summer. Last season he was always causing bother to defenders - thus far this season he's more of a headache for our midfield, no idea what kind of ball to play into him because he seems unable to do anything.

Gyan was a patchy, patchy player in Ligue 1, when he was good he was good but when he was bad he was awful. Guess that's why he's at Sunderland and not a big club ;)

Mata looks very amazing
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Traditionally, you come to Sunderland and if you're any good you make a name for yourself then move up the pecking order... Gyan was on fire last season. Not pretty to watch but very effective. This year he looks like a very average player. Don't know if he actually wants a move or not, but he needs to get his head in the right place.

Well done by Jussi to close down the angle quickly. Forced Suarez to chip it.
