Webb allowing Liverpool to play on and then stopping the game when United on the ball is precisly the reason Refs should be allowed to talk to the press. If he comes out and admits a mistake in hindsight I can understand that, but you never know the instructions refs get from FIFA etc. I do think he knows he made a mistake their though really poor decision.

Well that would make sense for a foul on the keeper, but can you just stop the game when you lose the ball, I understand there is always a little variance in the rules in reguards to the keepers, but I believe you either play on and accept the consequences from the risk or put the ball out when they had an obvious chance to.
