That's questionable. What's damning, however, is the fact that he's clearly looking AT Arbeloa and continues to extend his leg instead of back away from the challenge.

The ball was in the same direction as Arbeloa so its a bit hard to say that he was looking at him

The video is too blurry to tell for certain, but to me, at no stage in that does it look like he looks in Arbeloa's direction. He looks towards the sideline, Arbeloa comes from a much further back angle than Nani looks at.
