If they are such easy beats why are we the first team to knock them out of the FA Cup in 2 seasons? I'd call that a pretty good job.

I see your point but they've been beaten by such powerhouses as AFC Bournemouth and Doncaster Rovers this season - you can't really act like beating them on penalties is a great feat out of context - IN context it's a fantastic win as it's put you in an FA Cup final and you should be very happy. But that stat you just said isn't very relevant IMO.

Lets just leave out them beating City, at the Etihad in the last round ;) :lol:

Imo reaching any cup final, no matter how you do it is a great feat, and considering we had to beat Sp*rs, Liverpool and Everton on the way, it's definitely a great feat.

Also not like it's the first time we've been taken to pens by a team we maybe should be beating in normal time. In 1998 when we won the cup, Port Vale took us to pens in the 3rd round and in 2005 when we won the cup Sheffield United took us to pens in the 5th round.

On a related note, I do find it funny how we're constantly reminded of the 'magic of the cup' and how one team can beat any other on any given day, yet when it goes close to happening everyone is surprised :lol:
