Arsenal in the first 15-20 were awesome, but really dropped off in the 2nd half of the first half. Chelsea could easily be up.

Yes they seemed to go from dominant to sluggish and Chelsea dove on the chance to make them pay with what could have been an avoidable goal with a little alertness and a touch better reactions from Fabianski and the defence in general.

(Sluggish by their standards anyhow)

Arsenal's biggest problem is that other than a meek showing from Cesc their midfield is being smashed off the park. They're out of it tbh.

I was reading an article where Theo Walcott was talking about the possibilty of tonights match being decided in a penalty shootout, I thought it was strange at the time I was under the assumption that there was one replay and then if there was no winner in the second match a winner would be decided through penalty shootouts. But I may be wrong so don't take it to heart.

Fabregas has been pretty dissapointing this game I haven't seen a glimmer of the flair or determination we've come to expect from him. the chelsea defence has done a good job of hounding him though.


Denilson was lucky to get away with that push on the ref could and should have been worse.

I would have liked to seen the ref spit in his face, shouldn't have to take that shit i don't know how they control themselves sometimes. Arshavin is coming on wonder if he can make an impact.

I understand the ref showing some restraint but not sending him off for a push on an official isn't really keeping in with the respect campaign. Can the FA even issue further punishment after the official has given him a card?

Its not even that. Its just a plain rule, if you touch the ref, its red. Hell, Vukovic got 9 months for it!

Nice Composure, that may be the goal that does it I haven't seen anything from Arsenal that leads me to believe they can break Chelsea's defence but then you can never really count them out.
