I like to think I don't use words that don't need to be used, and if I agree with something but don't have any more words to add I think a quote will show that I support a given view and give it further weight. If I didn't, something that only 1% of this community would agree with would be given equal visibility. Frankly I think they have a function in discussion in a football forum. And how hard is it to scroll past? 95% of the crap people post here is worth scrolling past anyway! :lol:

I also agree with afro's post, but in fear of being prosecuted for spam, a pyramid, or a "+1" pyramid, I cannot fully express my opinion.

Hence, I am writing my post like this.

And yes I was being meta re pyramiding Afroman's kudos quote.

Because a kudos system is exactly what it is, and it fits the infrastructure of this forum software.

I think common sense should be applied and only deleted, locked or banned when abused, for example when one poster adds to the pyramid more than once, etc.

Frankly I didn't insult anyone. I didn't nominate anyone for it and I'm not sticking the label on anyone, it's not personal. To me it sounds like a you problem. And since three separate mods have OK'd it, I reckon you should just shut the fuck up.

You created a thread about awards which encouraged members to personally attack other members by nominating them for an award that is insulting in its description. The fact you did not nominate anyone is rather irrelevant to whether the award's description is insulting to those nominated for it.

I think forum awards are a good idea however having one that insults people is not a good idea.

No I am not only complaining because I am nominated for the award, I am complaining because I think it is against the rules. I would be quite happy to win the award because it means I am being insulted not another member of the forum. I was punished for breaking the rules which I have no problem with. I gave commitment to Funky Munky in a PM after my ban that I would change my behavior, stop insulting other and swearing, completely follow the rules. I would just like to see the same standard set for everyone.
