Came into my inbox not long ago :

Sydney United FC v Sydney FC, FFA Cup Round of 16

Sydney FC Members will be have access to a pre-purchase period for tickets for the upcoming FFA Cup game on September 23rd. Details will be provided very soon. Tickets will be available in a Cove Active area or non-active areas on the sidelines or in the Grandstand.

To have access to the Cove Active area, you will need to show your 2014/15 Cove Membership Card on entry with your pre-purchased ticket. Cove Memberships purchased prior to last Friday are scheduled to arrive by September 20.

All Sydney FC Members will be able to purchase into the non-active areas from Friday, no Membership Card is required. Please keep an eye on your emails for further sales information.

Any idea when tickets are released to the general public?

SU58 got ~600 to the ro32, how many SU fans do you think are still active and will show up to this game?

i think it was more around the 1k mark, nevertheless, club is expecting around 3-4k in just croats, cove have been given 4.5k allocated tickets.

But these are members only... i dont expect that much to be sold before sunday anyways.

Even just 3k would make it a great spectacle, it sounds like it will probably be about 50-50 which will be great to see on tv

A better option than Brisbane, but a rocket to the SE QLD football community to agitate theirgovt to help upgrade a boutique (3-8,000) GC venue to FFA Cup standard.

Or we could stop playing these non televised games at night and move them to saturday at 3pm so clubs can actually host games without having to sink hundreds of thousands of dollars in lighting.

you can only buy 4 tickets per transaction, so its numbers 1-4 but everyone i have spoken to its the same.

no offical ticket number, just amount of tickets you purchased.

The whole idea of the FFA cup was to play the smaller clubs at their grounds so they could make some money. What is so hard??? Heck, if there is a clash, the NPL game can be played midweek under the supposed inferior lights. How fucking hard is that???

I'm glad they split the Adelaide games. The FFA need to be applauded on that decision. It keeps city and united as separate entities. Separate clubs.
