+xThey're still fucking shit. yep they are, but i wont complain. one day the salary cap would be scrapped and teams like melbourne city or victory would dominate the league. we need to find ways on how to beat these cashed up sides

+xIt's really starting to show who has money and who hasn't. I don't think the Wanderers have one marquee where Melb city have 3. Other teams can't even fill the salary cap. The cap is not exactly doing its job. we have 1 marquee and thats the martinez guy from argentina

Pffft. Its the magic farken.
Is Wellington diverse? Dont know, however this is a club that has no historical or existing link to a specific migrant group - Rusty Einstein
The negative stereotypes are perpetuated by people who either have no idea or are serving a vested interest; neither viewpoint should get anywhere near running Australian football - Ange Postecoglou

No City fan is getting too excited by this, we still have an enormous handicap that will cost us over the season - JVS

Nothing to protest about, his enormous payout fee is drastically reduced after half the season so when the team is following its usual pattern he'll be gone

Mooy took city's pens last year. Still a little bit silly to not give them to him, considering he's the best goal scorer the league has ever had.

The only thing in JVS's favour was that he looked good compared to Bambi

The only thing in JVS's favour was that he looked good compared to Bambi Maybe Heart just turn coaches to shit, Aloisi has done better with another maybe JVS would do better somewhere else. Aloisi was clever enough to select his brother as 'assistant' coach and didn't make the mistake of choosing a mate with no coaching experience like Hayden Foxe. Certainly Heart provided next to no training facilities and no training home base, poor medical and physic resources etch and this would not have helped. Neither did an injury to Engelaar in pre-season that kept him out for half the season but the main problem was the team culture, established by JVS and encapsulated by David williams - "if we win we win, if we lose we lose". There were still echoes of that culture last season with the team regularly crumbling season after season every time it was in striking distance of the finals. This really won't change until City has a coach that instils a different culture. The change is starting from the bottom, Fornaroli, Sorenson, Cahill etc., but a fish rots from the head. JVS has a winning total of 33% of games as head coach and he's the highest paid coach in the League. He performed as poorly in Mexico (where he was sacked) as he has here.

Greens showing why they're the top ranked NPL side in the Country, we'll have lesser challenges in the A-League.

The bumpy pitch is neutralising the contest, bentleigh playing well, they were ordinary last week when they lost to edgeworth.
