APIA Victory away trip, lock that in.
Already talking to my latently Victory supporting mate at work who's from Devonport originally to head to Avondale v Devonport.
Hope they're different matchdays.

+xAnyone got the stats on how often Sydney play non-Aleague teams in the cup? I'm sure it's just enough to power a pretty entertaining conspiracy theory

+xGood chance for all 5 melb teams to advance here. I think so. Adelaide Comets v Bergers and Broady Magic v Greens will be legitimate hypothetical national second tier quality matchups, but despite both being away I'd say the Victorian teams are stronger. APIA very strong but Victory are Victory. City at home to Jets in their preseason is pretty predictable. Avondale v Devonport will be the most novel of the matches and their effort against Northcote is to be commended but Avondale are a step up.

A reminder that the current top scorer title is tied between Brosque, John Majurovski from Broadmeadow Magic, Miles Barnard from Devonport, and former Nepal youth international Sulav Maskey from Hellenic Darwin with two each. #romance

Gutted for Northcote though didnt expect them to capitulate tonight. I've seen them play bentleigh, avondale and heidelberg off the park this season, shame they couldnt host it at northcote.

+xIsHave we found out what the deal is between Brisbane Strikers and Devonport Strikers yet? Is that crest actually just MS Clipart and there's actually even more out there in the wide world of football? Didn't someone post up an African team with the same crest on here a while back?

Looking forward to a local FFA Cup game in Newy - Magic Park is a beaut of a ground to watch football.
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

+x+x+xUnless there were 5k+ in Darwin, this cup so far the lowest crowd average by a lot From a Victorian perspective having avondale and bentleigh in it doesnt help. Lucky to get 100 people to their local games. If they get a decent a -league team next round it should boost numbers. If heidelberg get city or victory id expect 4 - 6k What was it, 14k last time the Bergers hosted City? Granted it was a bit of a novelty then but if that draw came up again I'd be there again. 11,372 quarter final 2015

I'm hearing rumours on social media that Lions FC will try its best and get extra lighting upgrade hired for its massive tie between Lions FC & Adelaide United.

Lambert Park would have been fantastic hosting an A-League club. Most games should just be played at 3pm saturday to get around these dumb lighting requirements, it must cost a fortune for them to hire a new ground. Let Fox just pick the main game for their midweek coverage.

Lions fans also rightfully filthy that they have to play an hour away at Perry Park despite doing everything they could this season to get the ground up to standard.

How are the Wanderers v Bonnyrigg not televised.
Barely anyone will be interested in United v Lions on the same match day.

We saw Bentleigh beat wellington, WSW nearly lost and newcastle just beat gold coast.
How far away are we from a NPL team making the grand final?

+xWe saw Bentleigh beat wellington, WSW nearly lost and newcastle just beat gold coast. How far away are we from a NPL team making the grand final? History shows upsets mainly occur at the round of 32 stage. The npl semi finalist is always in off season and the a league opponent in season which makes it an easy kill. The draw should be completely random.

Let Fox just pick the main game for their midweek coverage. I imagine it's a tv thing rather than a lighting thing. If you watch NSWPL highlights of APIA games at Lambert the highlights package doesn't make for great viewing because there isn't really any place to get an elevated camera angle of the action so they're forced to set up some scaffolding about 3 metres high in a tiny little alcove.
