I think so.

Adelaide Comets v Bergers and Broady Magic v Greens will be legitimate hypothetical national second tier quality matchups, but despite both being away I'd say the Victorian teams are stronger.

APIA very strong but Victory are Victory.

City at home to Jets in their preseason is pretty predictable.

Avondale v Devonport will be the most novel of the matches and their effort against Northcote is to be commended but Avondale are a step up.

Gutted for Northcote though didnt expect them to capitulate tonight. I've seen them play bentleigh, avondale and heidelberg off the park this season, shame they couldnt host it at northcote.

Shithouse. Lambert Park would have been fantastic hosting an A-League club. Most games should just be played at 3pm saturday to get around these dumb lighting requirements, it must cost a fortune for them to hire a new ground. Let Fox just pick the main game for their midweek coverage.

Lions fans also rightfully filthy that they have to play an hour away at Perry Park despite doing everything they could this season to get the ground up to standard.

Lambert Park can't hold 10k, so don't know what APIA are complaining about.

How are the Wanderers v Bonnyrigg not televised.

Barely anyone will be interested in United v Lions on the same match day.

We saw Bentleigh beat wellington, WSW nearly lost and newcastle just beat gold coast.

How far away are we from a NPL team making the grand final?

History shows upsets mainly occur at the round of 32 stage. The npl semi finalist is always in off season and the a league opponent in season which makes it an easy kill.

The draw should be completely random.

I imagine it's a tv thing rather than a lighting thing.  If you watch NSWPL highlights of APIA games at Lambert the highlights package doesn't make for great viewing because there isn't really any place to get an elevated camera angle of the action so they're forced to set up some scaffolding about 3 metres high in a tiny little alcove.

Who gives a fuck how much it holds, it's their home ground, and if they want to play it there they should.
