+x+xI reckon FFA Cup is on the brink of being cancelled for the 2nd year in a row but Football Australia aren't keen to publicly cancel the tournament until they absolutely have to, so I doubt we'll get an announcement for another month or so. Given currently 12 NPL clubs (1 ACT, 2 Newcastle, 4 Victoria, and 5 Sydney) are either in lockdown or season has been officially cancelled plus interstate travel border restrictions. Also their are multiple state federations have officially cancelled the season (New South Wales and Victoria) or suspended the season (NPL Northern NSW and NPL ACT) i simply cannot see it happening you have 21 clubs (9 A League clubs and 12 NPL clubs) are banned from even leaving the state or New Zealand. Hence HOST THE WHOLE TOURNEY IN PERTH 1. Ffa cup to be cancelled - I reckon it will eventually. Or severely reduced teams? Are FFA pushing ahead with it to get the Tv money? Or to fulfill commitments? Whatever it may be? Doesnt make sense continuing with it.
2. Move to perth? - no chance. Semi pro players from NSW have no chance of entering WA. Or even Pro players. Victorians are too far away from being banned completely. Considering WA have allowed AFL games to go ahead, they may make exceptions for A-L teams. But NSW Clubs are the biggest issue. And that’s where 12 clubs are in the FfA cup.

Real football in Vic is done for another year just the plastics left in FFA cup now.... dont really care if it gets played or not. https://www.footballvictoria.com.au/news/metropolitan-melbourne-2021-season-status

I think Melbourne Victory cooked even getting into Perth now for FFA Cup match against Perth Glory after Thursday afternoon's hammer blow dealt on them as no professional sports teams from Melbourne will be getting exemptions as of Wednesday September 29th as the Western Australian premier Mark McGowan announced tighter border restrictions as Victoria is now an extreme risk zone. https://www.wa.gov.au/government/announcements/update-controlled-border-victoria

D'Arrigo scored. From what I've seen, AU are pretty rusty

Floreat Athena equalised through Chris Soldaris. 1-1 with 7 minutes of the 90 left. Adelaide have been poor this half & Athena have been instituing the high press & frustrating Adelaide.

Extra Time. Halloran brought down in the box. Blackwood converts the penalty 1-2.

Yeah ok that looks a lot better. Mo Toure was your best player today & Dukaly looked better than last year. Al Hasan is a shadow of his former self

Great news for VICNPL clubs still left in the FFA cup, they are now allowed to train as of Monday It seems that Cup,is not considered just community football and as such training falls under allowed employment activitiy. Looks like South vs Melbourne City will go ahead after all :)

When I wear their colours, I am the club.

Sydney Olympic vs SFC 24th November at Belmore. Cant wait for this one. Olympic were my first live football experience back when they played out of Shark park for a couple of seasons. Good times.

Not sure how Kitto is a pro football player. The young kid looks promising. Hopefully Yengi has a good season & keeps improving - got all the attributes of a #9

I hope Ben Halloran isn’t our plan A for penalties. Also, how can a goalkeeper on a dry warm day get away with soaking the penalty spot with their drink bottle just before the penalty taker places the ball on the spot? Surely that warrants a yellow.

What about dissent by Yengi What about the STA by Oliviera Both warranted yellow cards
