It's sort of what Ch.7 did with the NSL. Buy all the rights, and then show the absolute minimum.

Fox just wants exclusive rights to get more people to buy their product, 7 just bought the old NSL rights to kill off the sport as a competitor to their other footy, big difference. But there is no reason why other clubs in the FFA can't follow South Hobarts example and seek to get their own stream up. In fact it was interesting to see but South Hobart seem to try and stream a lot of their games even in the Tasmanian league.

They only bid for A-League rghts because Fox produce the games and send their own trucks. SBS don't pay for production costs I'm pretty sure.

The last I heard they were in contact with both City, the FFA/Foxtel & Ballarat Red Devils in getting an internet connection set up so they could start up a live stream. That was on Thursday or Friday. I'll see what I can dig up in the next 24 hours.

Well I will be happy for any stream to go up for any of the matches tomorrow. Adelaide City vs WSW will be an interesting match while I would also be interested to see how the Cairns team goes ( Heat ).

United have struggled this season, however they are cautious about this match, Rudan had his people up there watching their matches etc, and he did rest players over the weekend. cannot wait :cool:
