Ridiculous by the FFA. Potentially pricing new fans out of the game for a quick cash grab. These are the sort of games that can attract new fans to our game and turn casuals into members. Doesn't attract new members and members feel cheated by having to pay for a membership then 60+ for a ticket to a home game.

Ffa is so poorly run sometimes. You'd think they'd be charging minimum to build up interest in this comp. not blindly ripping off and what appears price manipulation for certain fans.

FFA are a pack of çunts. All the talk leading into the tournament is about the community aspect of the cup but when it comes to a payday, they will not hesitate for a second to give the fans a big middle.

Does a stadium being twice as good justify prices being twice as much? People are paying for the football foremost, not paying for the chance to stand inside a stadium.

Fact is the demand for our product is not enough to justify 60+...hence why the FFA has had to drop the prices to get people through the doors. Results in unfair price discrimination...basically the bigger MV fans are being penalised.

its a chance to watch the undisputed best team in the country play a cup final at arguably the best stadium for football in the country.

its not adelaide at a half-baked venue without a roof.

They moan and bitch about Perth "only" getting 4,000 odd the the SF and then demand the final be held in Melbourne because it would be the best for their fat egos. They then struggle to get 6K in a city with twice as many people as Perth and are now struggling to get anywhere near a sell-out for the final.

The irony of this whilst complaining his cap cheat team in a city no-one cares about isn't hosting the final.

Melbourne could get 10k to a final and it would still be better than a Perth final, because shock horror, nobody cares about Perth.

Yeah nah, those prices were standard for a Socceroos game but are totally overkill for a game like today. Perth wouldn't even sell out Dorrien Gardens.

Anyway, Perth didn't deserve the final for plenty of other reasons. Premium events should not be held in glorified regional towns.

Just saw a post on twitter, which I feel sums up the situation quite well. "The FFA are always talking about making football family friendly, yet charge basically $100 for a whole family to go watch.

It does now :lol: it was 45 bucks up until today.
