@southmelb, personally I think its likely to be Hume going to the playoff as they have the toughest match and are likely to lose, in which case Gully just needs a draw and GD will see them through.

Pascoe vale are guaranteed to finish 4th. They will surely be resting players for the following weeks elimination final. Kingston City can still make the finals and are the form team of the comp wont be easy for gully. Port will massacre South.

Dandenong City promoted to the NPL top flight tonight for next year and they will become at least the sixth or possibly the seventh club in the top flight in Victoria next year that usually plays its home games on Friday Nights joining Bentleigh Greens, Green Gully Cavaliers (if they stay up), Melbourne Knights, Oakleigh Cannons, Pascoe Vale, and Port Melbourne Sharks that regularly play its home games in that Friday Night slot.

I thought playing finals and ffa cup games was nerve wracking...absolutely nothing compares to avoiding potential relegation when it goes down to the last game. First time i slept well in about 3 months.

Anyone shed some light on Gerrie Sylaidos, currently trialling with the jets. Think his skill set can translate to a-league football?

+xAnyone shed some light on Gerrie Sylaidos, currently trialling with the jets. Think his skill set can translate to a-league football? Quality player, technically superb was always the 2nd standout attacker at City youth after Arzani. Takes players on with ease, good with both feet and has a lethal strike on him. Still a teenager though wont be picked up by the Jets this time.

I saw it on the replay. The Altona players gave it to the NSE and Dandy fans (assuming payback for giving shit to Elmazi the whole game) and they retaliated in the only way they knew clearly, by spitting and thinking they are next level gangsters. I don't know how the Elmazi family left Dandenong Thunder when they (Lirim) moved to Altona, but seemingly they (Albanians) weren't too happy about it. I think this gives the FFA reason to keep and modify the NCIP. And not totally erase it.
