Why would you let Quiche bid on players which he clearly has no intention of winning? It's not really very sporting. Apologies if my attempt to stabilise the price of players caused offence... it was not my intention to get a reaction.

It was entirely in my opinion that introducing new players into the mix would have the affect of creating a more realistic price for the majority of the quality players playing in this world cup. There are still half a dozen 'gems' that I would be willing to introduce/have as my team that have yet to be introduced but it appears there is some consensus that introducing players is not considered a realistic attempt to own them - I do believe most people have bid on more than 5 players to date.

I will keep my word and not bid for a full 24hrs from when I introduced the players last night (approx 7pm). If people do not wish to bid on the ones I did introduce that is there prerogative and I will cop whatever penalty comes my way. Similarly if the majority feel as though my budget ought to be 16.5mil I will accept that too.

What I won't accept is the assertion that I've deliberately tried to gain an advantage as that was not my intention. My intention was to stabilise the price rise of some players whom I deemed of lesser quality than those whom I introduced... I now understand that 'hiding' players is a strategy that some people like to employ so therefore, as promised, I will not introduce any more players.

TBH you've genuinely taken away a lot of the fun from the competition that we got to have in the EPL one.

People slaying themselves for spending $X mil on certain players yet lateshowers getting those gems for bugger all at the end, late bids for gems changing the whole complexion of the higher bids, people driving up prices of the already existing players and hoping they'll get outbid so they have more money to spend on those later gems, etc.

The countdown until the three days (ie Friday night) is a long one, and you've just gone ahead and ruined a bunch of the fun.
