So you can spend all 20m now if you want I can understand the reason behind offering him the free pick. It is a bit of a problem when you think about who he could have bid on initially. In saying that, a current budget of 20 mill could see him outbid most of us still left in the draft, and pick up some decent players, as most probably don't have more than 7mill remaining, and need to budget for the Sept pick. pv4 makes a valid point about theoretically having the most money, but then that only happens if he spends his money wisely now. I am actually torn on this one. Think of the shit-fight if he actually wins the league if he's had concessions. Just make it that he doesn't have to outbid others onl match their bids... still 20m. Theoretically the majority of the best scoring 60 players in the league have already gone, the draft is neccessary for him to be competitive. If Arsenal and liverpool both bring in a striker I don't think I will need any concessions as I will either be able to get them outright (of they sign before the season starts) or most likely get second spot in the draft to Zimbo. As of 9pm Wednesday (tomorrow) you will not be able to put any new players up. This gives us enough time for the 2days plus a few bidding wars.
If you haven't filled your quota 1 hour prior to KO of the first game, window is shut and you will have to play the first two rounds a man (or two men) short until the window reopens after R2 fixtures.
So, don't let that happen to yourselves!
When we getdown to like 4 players required, if we want to do the same thing as in the FWC and do a Private silent auction where you guys PM me a list of who you want etc
