Fifth season at Wigan now done. :( As I said earlier I was struggling at the start but by Feb I was on top of the league, in the league cup final, in the R16 of the ECL & FA Cup.

Perhaps I should've strengthened the squad in Jan but I decided to snap up a few free agents for the following season instead. Eriksen & Cresswell. :o

Then March happened. :x The injuries I got just destroyed the squad (half of my starting 11 were out) due to having a smallish squad I ended up having to fortifier two matches. :( Went on a horrid run winning 1 of the next 14 games, I just couldn't get anything going and conceded some of the most BS goals possible.

I experimented with different formations but settled on the old 451 before finishing the season promisingly thumping Chelsea 3-0 in the last game.

But I finished 5th and was sacked. :x Such bs no respect for the hard work that I've done for the club or the fact I was brought down by an injury crisis. :cry:

Ended up getting a few offers; Villa, WBA, Brighton, Leverkusen, Lazio, Fiorentina & Sassuola though.

Decided to go to Fiorentina and link up with Cuadrado & Brillante. :d

Just finished my first season in my career player save.

41 goals for Chesterfield and had the won by late feb.
Got selected in world cup games against France (0-0) and Bulgaria (1-1, Bulgaria got a 92nd min equalizer)
Transferred to Bayern Leverkusen in the off season already doing filthy things teaming up with Robbie Kruse (just smashed 4 past Liverpool in a friendly at Anfield)

In the player career mode it seems very hard to lose games no matter how you play as an individual. Admittedly I haven't played in player mode since I stepped up to World Class level.

In career mode, I'm getting increasingly frustrated by how easily it all turns to shit. I'm very much in the territory between Professional and World Class modes - way above Pro, a little below WC - so it's a real struggle to maintain interest. I don't mind losing, it's going 3-4 games without a goal, or getting thumped by bad teams when you're on a good run of form, etc.

I think some slider tampering may be required - anyone got an idea of how to get accurately between Pro and WC?

Sixth and first at Fiorentina now done. It was a great season winning the Serie A and Europa League. \:d/

It was a two horse race between ourselves and Roma all season but we managed to win the league on goal difference (at one stage we trailed them by 8 points).

While we beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 in extra time in the Europa final.

What was awesome about this squad was how everyone contributed with goals - had 11 guys with 5+ goals.

Only made one signing in Massadio Haidara.

Now have 31 million in the bank to make some signings and I've got some big decisions to make with half the squad 30+ in age.

Wigan watch - They finished 7th in the EPL and got knocked out in the Europa league in the R16.

Yet they sold Delort & Gayle, the only players they signed were regens.

Seventh season now done, somewhat of a disappointing season.

Finished 3rd in the league (by a fair way to Juve), won the ITM Cup but lost the Champions league final 2-1 in extra time to Bayern to a couple of the most bullshit goals imaginable.

I guess the most pleasing thing is the rebuilding that I did during the season, with several key signings. However I did sell Cuadrado to Bayern for 40 million, a huge loss but he was 32.




Wigan watch: They fell back to tenth in the league and still haven't made any signings. Scrolling through the potential job openings and it appears Wigan are rehiring again as well. 8-[

Sam Byram is a c^nt and hong chul is a greedy bastard.

Everytime ive played as leeds at some stage Sam Byram has come and demanded a transfer at some stage regardless of how much game time he is getting. He is slow to develop which is a pain in the arse as well. On the upside at least the board backed me this time and told me i dont have to sell him if i dont want him.

Hong Chul wants a pay rise from 20,000 pound to 50,000 after one season ffs.

I let Silvestri go so that i could accelerate the development of ondoa but the prick is not improving at all.

This game frustrates the shit out of me at times

The constant complaining by these guys is frustrating. Had six guys saying they all wanted out due to a lack of game time in the one day despite them all playing regularly.

More than happy to give someone a pay rise if they've been playing well but most of the time its those playing like shite wanting more cash. :x

Eighth season now done; felt like it went on forever - ended up simming as fair few games this season.

Ended up moving on my two first choice CB's, Benzia and I ended up getting 51 million for Kovacic from Monaco.

This season also felt a lot tougher and I struggled to score as many goals as I have in the past only 3 guys with 10+ and a total of 5 guys with 5+. My wingers struggled a lot more and the midfield just didn't contribute anymore, I think the retirement of Valero last season really hurt.

Oh well, I ended up finishing 4th in the league, got knocked out in the Champions League in the group stage (happened to be undefeated as well :( ) Went on to win the Europa League against Newcastle 4-0 and the TIM Cup.

Wigan Watch: They finished 9th and still haven't signed anyone but Regens.

Anyway this will be my final season at Fiorentina, I'll be moving on to somewhere else. Overall it was a successful period:

1 Serie A title, 2 Europa titles, 2 ITM Cups & a Champions league Final and I've practically rebuilt the entire squad.

Now I'm off to the 2022 World Cup with Brazil. :d

Just started a manager save at AC Milan, with the goal of returning the club to it's former glory.

Sold Bonera to Bologna for $450,000, Essien to Burnley for $1,800,000 and Montolivio to Sporting Club de Portugal for $7,500,000 and put the money towards three high quality scouts. Also loaned Mastour to Bologna. I haven't signed anyone since Sugar Daddy Berlusconi cut us off.

A four star experience/five star judgement Italian scout is searching the country, an all four star Spaniard is scouting his home country and another four star experience/five star judgement Italian is in France (doubt he'd be very welcome) and I've already began reaping the rewards, with a 16 year old Italian goalkeeper with a potential between 70 and 88 who could command an alright transfer fee depending on how he develops and a fifteen year old Italian CB with a potential between 67 and 85 who I might just keep long term, again depending on how he develops.

My prized possession is an Italian CDM/LB/CB who's fifteen and has a potential between 80 and 94.

I've only had one game so far this season; a 3-0 win over Lazio at home.

I haven't bothered with the Academy thing for a couple of years now but just with your general scouts I liked the idea at first but it is starting to give me the shits. The game is filled with so many regens now and the fact it can take up to twenty days to scout these guys is so frustrating, then you add in the time to negotiate with opposition club and the player for his wages you're flat out getting everything done in the transfer window. :(

Have completely lost the plot re World Class mode. Had a couple of seasons where I finished top 4 with Sunderland, but now can't seem to string more than a couple of wins together, ship stupid goals, etc. Have tried messing about with the sliders but that feels like cheating, considered dropping down to Professional just to get some wins, but every time I've tried that in the past I get pissed off being 3-0 up by half-time and lose interest. Pulling my hair out... Wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't had those couple of good seasons where I proved (to myself) that I could do it.

The times I've gone down the youth scouting route I never sign a player unless he has at worst 80 minimum potential. If you scout widely enough there will be 3-4 of them per scout per season. Sign em up, loan em out, then whack em in the first team at 18.

So I managed to get knocked out in the Semis to the Dutch at the World Cup with Brazil, pretty gutted as up until that game I was flying. We also. knocked out Australia in the R16. Anyway due to that loss I got the shits and simmed our 3rd place playoff and we lost that as well. Oh well.

So for my 9th season I applied for the Wolfsburg and Arsenal position/s but was strangely rejected, so I decided to take my talents to Saint-Etienne. The club actually had one of my old strikers from Wigan there in Andy Delort, so I was quite happy with that. But other than a few handy players the squad has mainly low 70 rated regens.

The club had fuck all transfer budget but they had two very high rated goalkeepers (85+) so I ended up selling one and brought in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (a quality CM) and Kenny Tete (a RB).

Thought we were in for a pretty tough season but nope we walked the league (by 13 points), I did so well in my first 20 games in charge I was in such a fortunate position in being able to sim some matches to save some time.

The club had no European football so playing a game once every week was a major benefit, we ended up winning the Coupe de Ligue but lost in the Coupe Nationale Final on penalties. :(

Would highly recommend my CB Florentin Pogba. Delort, Belfodil & Fumu Tamuzo all linked up superbly.

I'm interested to see how we go in the Champions League so I'll certainly stay another season at the club.

Unbelievable suddenly out of the blue my 88 rated goalkeeper gets homesick and demands to be transferred. The club goes above my head and sells him a day before deadline day on the cheap. :x Giving me no time to scout anyone and ruining my transfer plans.

I just don't get why my French Goalkeeper ffs gets homesick from his own fucking country and ends up at Manchester City.

With my regens i dont sign anyone who doesnt at least show an upper potential of 90+. I think it was fifa 14 i signed a regen striker who ended up hitting 92 at around 24, could shoot on both feet from distance and was scoring me a shit load of goals every season. Madrid come in and offered me 50 million pound, i demanded 80, they paid it :( he left. I ended up restarting the game i was so upset. Ive never found another player the equivelant of him :(

I complain about being unable to win... Then start a new game, with no slider assists, and suddenly start hitting form. Being a creature of habit I keep buying the same players... Anyone else noticed that some players can become Gods in one career or disasters in another? Yussuf Poulsen, big Danish striker - sometimes I buy him and he goes into the first team and rips it up from the start, others he's just this big lump who couldn't score in a brothel. On this particular career he's got something like 2 goals in 20 games (mostly off the bench), whilst Anthony Martial (signed for the same fee at the same time) is joint top scorer in the EPL.

I have found that at times and like you i tend to go for players i know can serve me well.

When i start out as leeds i always raid the A league. The only players really worth signing for me now ive switched to 4123 is Malik in the holding role. His overalls arent brilliant but he certainly does a job in there as a back up and chips in with the odd goal for me.

miyaichi who was behind the korean right mid i signed from bolton when i signed him is now my first choice right wing but is not progressing at all. Spent two years as a rotation and seems to be stuck at 68. If he hasnt progressed by the january transfer window im going to have to replace him.

CB Ajeti and del Fabro have been fantastic for me. Both are pushing towards 80 overall and are still in their early 20's. I signed ajeti for around 40,000 pound :shock:

10th season now done. :d

We ended up winning the league by 1 point over PSG. It was a pretty intense season with both teams losing a combined 5 games but we managed to sneak ahead with a couple of games remaining.

We also won the Coupe de Ligue and the Coupe Nationale as well.

Sadly we got knocked out in the Champions League in the Quarter final to Liverpool, we won the first leg 1-0 but lost the second game 2-0. Despite controlling that game they scored from a free kick and once again another BS goal. They put through a 40M lob through ball in which my Cb instead tracking the strikers run he decides to charge 30 metres up-field like a headless chook and we concede.

I might move on to another club (If I do it will hopefully be a big one so I can contend in the ECL) but I do really enjoy playing with Pogba, Delort & Belghazouani (Don't think he's the one in the pic below) However there really isn't much more for me to improve on with the squad.

Wigan Watch: They Finished 8th - Only new players are Regens.

Fiorentina Watch: They ended up finishing 2nd one point off 1st place Roma, they got knocked out to Liverpool in the Semi-final of the ECL No new players.

2nd season, 7 games to go, 2nd in the league and have won the Capital One Cup... Yussuf Poulsen in full beast mode rather than loveable lump (got about 3 goals in his first season, already over the 20 mark in his second) - youthful side full of potential and four Bosman's already signed up for next season. Flying.

EDIT - tanked at the end of the season: 7 points from the last 6 games, lost FA Cup quarter final replay, dropped like a stone from 2nd to 6th and will have to settle for Europe via the Capital One cup win. Move on to season 3...

11th season now done.

I played about a quarter of the season at Saint-Etienne, we started very well opened up a considerable lead in the league (8 points over PSG) and we were on top of our champions league group after 3 games and were guaranteed to progress to the next stage.

Now as I said before I was looking to move on to another club it took a long time for any decent job opportunities to come up but it finally did and I ended up joining Dortmund. :d

At the time they were in third place and coming second in their champions league. They still had a very good team but three quarters of the squad were 30+, they also only had 5 defenders in the club. :?

So a mass rebuild was in order (and still is for that matter) Due to this a 36 year old Langerak finally has a starting spot. :lol:

Signed this CM called Youri Tielemans he's 28 at the moment - 87 rated, so only 17 when in season one, brilliant passing game.

Also this striker at the club - Dybala is superb, I've got called the difference in finishing between him and some of the lower rated strikers I've used so far is unbelievable.

I've been against signing any of my past players but I just had to sign Florentin Pogba :d

I ended up winning the league by two points just ahead of Bayern, got knocked out in the semis of the Deutscher Pokal on penalties ffs.

However finally after all this time I've won the Champions League. \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/

Career Mode only lasts 15 seasons doesn't it? Will be in my 12th next season and I've still got to head to Spain.

Wigan watch: The decline continues, no idea why they aren't buying anyone.

Fiorentina watch: They finished 4th a fair way off the pace, sadly for a while they were leading the league. Knocked out in the group stages of the ECL(Made the semis of the Europa). No new players.

S-E: As I said I played 11 league games with them and for the entire season it showed they played no more yet after the seasons finished it says they've suddenly played 49 league matches - quite obviously a glitch that needs to be fixed. However they did make the quarters of the ECL. No new players either.

Dybala is legit. Signed for Juve as Scar Face's replacement this season.

Got bored so updated A-league squads progressively as the real life transfer season rolls on. Anyway, i created Andy Brennan for Newcastle Jets and after a season and a half he sold to PSG for something like 90 mil with a rating of 89
