So many protests in the big cities today. There's a lot of frustration amongst Clinton supporters and this is how they are letting it out I guess, not sure what they are hoping to achieve otherwise. Seems counter-intuitive to be chanting about power to the people over the result of a democratic election. There was also a video (not from a protest) of a guy getting beaten up by three people and having his car stolen for being a Trump supporter, which is pretty disgusting considering the values of tolerance they are espousing... that sort of thing is only likely to drive more people to Trump's side.

I'm sure Hillary herself is disappointed in the result but in hindsight it seems clear that she and the Democratic party elite put themselves above what the people wanted. Their collusion before the primaries were decided potentially robbed Sanders of a real shot at the presidency. Given he'll be 79 in 2020 it looks like the Democrats will need to rebuild as I can't see him running again.

4.9% is the official national statistic. The real national figure is higher because not everyone who is unemployed is included in that statistic.

There are also pockets or areas of super high unemployment in the USA like any countries. You can go to some communities, and find unemployment levels of 20, 30, 40 or 50%.
