Say California votes 2:1 Democrat then 2/3rds if that 55 go to them, the remainder to the Republicans. Seems more fair and representative. Basically a Republican in California will never have his vote counted federally. And vice versa in say Alabama. Yeah but then no point for the college if it's proportionate. Well at this point if Biden wins Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, three of the four Maine votes, and either one of Michigan or Georgia he'll have it in the bag with 270 votes.
Or he loses both Michigan and Georgia but wins North Carolina, and we have a 269 vote tie (assuming no faithless electors) and the then winner is decided by the House of Reps but in a weird vote where each state just gets one vote.
That or US Civil War 2 breaks out before the counting is finished.
