I'm not sure exactly but I think it's because of all the postal votes as they send them out to every voter there, although they were reporting 86% counted when the count stopped, as I understand it.

Their Secretary of State is going to process all ballots before reporting again.

I'm not above patting myself on the back for going big on Biden when the odds topped out at $4.50 on election night before the postal votes were counted and the urban centres were just getting started reporting results, that was the time to strike.

Philadelphia County and Clayton County in southern Atlanta, both with plenty of postal votes left, will decide the White House.

Even if either don't, Biden holding on in Arizona and Nevada is enough to win it, but we're still waiting for numbers from there.

Absolutely, I don't want to be a victim of the sunk cost fallacy for the sake of a couple extra bucks but Trump has to win almost everything left on the table to have a chance. Either way thanks to covid schedule I'll still be awake in Australia time when this alleged Nevada announcement comes out so I expect I can react faster than Bet365 if it doesn't go Biden's way.

That's what I'm worried about! If the Nevada announcement is adverse for Biden I'll bail at that point (even though I'll still believe he'll win eventually) but it'll be good to avoid that sort of shit.

Apparently Pittsburgh's county will be doing non-pollling administrative work today.

Allegheny county PA stopping until 9am tomorrow. Legal challenge regarding 29k ballots that had been issued with errors. They need checking along with 6k others that couldn't be processed. Person in charge has said nothing malicious but it's frustrating. 

Apparently some of these errors are things like creases as I understand it. Normally I'd be happy for any delay to ensure probity is taken but when the Commander in Chief is tweeting "STOP THE COUNTING", then I worry.

Slight boost in NV lead for blue.

I can't understand how they can count millions in one day and yet it takes 2 or 3 days to count a million.

Different counties with different population sizes. Smaller ones get done first. The bigger ones lag.

I’m also guessing mail in ballots have additional processing.

There was an article about a lady who did mail in and passed away this year before the election date. Her vote was cancelled. So there are processes in place.

It's amazing they can claim that the count is illegitimate in the counting centres.  I watched a show yesterday where they explained how representatives from both sides are present and independents and how there's multiple stages of checking each ballot has to go through before it's accepted.

I mean it's as squeaky clean as you can just about possibly make it and they're still whinging.

Wait until they find an example of one person voting twice or a dead person and they'll be screaming the whole thing is illegitimate.

Well Trump's already done that but the noise will increase 10 fold.
