I do agree that Trumpism is here to stay. It’s got a strong base of 40% of the vote - minimum. You’re not being rational if you don’t consider those voter needs.

Thats pretty subjective I reckon.  An incumbent rarely loses so that in itself is pretty damning.  But it does illustrate just how polarised the country is and that isnt going anywhere, regardless of who ends up winning.

The process of checking a vote that has come in takes time. The checking of a vote on the day is done at the time e.g. id check etc. Checking that a vote is valid is what takes the time for drop box and mail votes. There is a signature check, it needs to be within a security sleeve etc. The actual counting time is probably the same.  

Ideally you have checked the the vote when received before election day. However, in the lagging states the state legislatures have not allowed that processing until either election day or after polling has closed. Look at Ohio. They processed the mail in votes as they were received and actually counted them before election day results were. That is why the Democrats were in front there on election night early before being caught with the election day Republican turnout.

Yeah but think about how many extra people voted for Trump this time.  Millions more.  And that's not counting those who support him but couldn't be arsed waiting 6 hours to wait in line to vote.

Just listened to a bunch of Trump supporters swearing black and blue that votes are being printed off, votes are being burnt, votes are being thrown away.
