Very keen for this, hopefully a nice attacking game with minimal theatrics.

Get around this one.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

keen to see that Rubin Kazan player Aloisi mentioned in the Round Table Quote:On 4 July 2014, Rubin Kazan announced through their official website that Azmoun will remain at the club despite his transfer offers from Arsenal, Liverpool and Zenit St. Petersburg. Quote:On 27 March 2014, English Premier League side Arsenal reportedly made a £2 million offer to Kazan for the transfer of 19-year-old Azmoun, sparking interest from A.C. Milan, Juventus, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Barcelona as well. must be decent.

If my understanding of the tournament structure is correct, whoever finishes top of this group will play whoever finishes top in our group in the semi's (provided they both win of course). So we could most likely play Iran in the semis.

What an amazing crowd and atmosphere inside AAMI and around the streets before and after the game. Absolute first class from the Iran supporters. Very rare to see such an atmosphere here. I could only imagine what it would have been like in Teheran in 1997 for the Socceroos when we snuck a draw in front of over 100k fanatical fans. These guys are nuts for their nation.
Good solid team who will be very hard to beat.

I thought it was a pretty poor match from Iran, in truth. Especially in the first half where they could barely string a few passes together. Terrific atmosphere though. I loved the drums.
Glad (?) to see I wasn't the only one who noticed the peculiar attractiveness of the Iranian women...There were a lot of women there, too, which was good to see and not only from a slightly pervy perspective.

Amazing game, amazing atmosphere, my ears still ringing from the din. Never heard AAMI Park so loud. Melbourne Victory should employ those leaders to rev up the crowds on the East and West sides of the ground. PS It is a shame not all seats are full considering the cheap ticket prices.
