anything, that dilutes British military power, is a automatic security risk to Australia , and has been for 200 years. this major diluting (British having no nuclear capability) would have to be made up somewhere else, By the USA or Australia

British being a nuclear capable military, has be a virtual guarantee of security for Australia, New Zealand and Canada . It also gave Australia some bargaining power in dealing with USA, and how Australian-USA relationship developed

Australia having both USA and British with nuclear capability, make for a far more secure Australia, then having USA alone

I certainly didn't expect this thread to turn out like it has :lol: Having no ties to the UK apart from the ones that our government continues to hold, I couldn't care less about the result. I'm a hobby psephologist though so I like to see how other countries do it whenever an election is run. Think I prefer our system though you do get some interesting outcomes.

i bet on Conservatives getting the most seat, so my money cares :lol:

exit polls saying Conservatives with 316, might be able to win with a very weaker LIB Dem

SNP winning 57 out 59 seats in Scotland

all the per election polls had Conservatives winning less seats, but exit polls saying they win 14 more....I think the raise of SNP will see England become more Conservatives
