Jet lag is a factor for us and we did look sluggish. Jordan players by contrast are all local
Having said that we played well with jet lag against saudi, qatar and during the waff

Olyroos lineup vs Indonesia:
Beach Italiano.......Popovic.......Courtney-Perkins........Mauragis ..................................Teague........................................ ................Hollman.......................Jelacic.................. ......Segecic................Toure..................Velupillay......
A lot more of an attacking and counter-attacking lineup. This is better.

That's a strong 11. I'd replace Mauragis with Farrell and Velupillay with G. Kuol.

+x+xWe need a late winner and no one decides to dictate it from midfield. We end up seeing centre backs with few ideas and Talbot running in circles. It was markedly better with the subs on due to Jordan's fatigue. That was clearly Vidmar's plan. Wear Jordan out then bring on the stronger players but we ran out of time and had few ways to get in there. If that's the plan, that is shocking. I'd make a few subs next game. Natta and Girdwood-Reich for Courtney Perkins and Popovic. Jelacic for Hollman and maybe Hollman slots to the 8 for Youlley. Toure for Alou. Segecic for Brook. Italiano for Talbot Beach Italiano. Girdwood-Reich. Natta. Farrell Teague Hollman Jelacic Segecic Toure Milanovic I think this is the start of a much stronger core. Pretty similar from the front 6 that I wanted. Milanovic/Velupillay. Defence is interesting to keep the same CB's. Would like Natta's set-piece presence against Indonesia. Farrell did have a poor game

Farrell did have a poor game interesting we aren't rotating cbs, so gk cbs and 6 are presumably what vidmar thinks is our best farrel had a poor game but is way better than mauragis, so fair enough rotating him. Back him to get back into the team. I think farrel has a ceiling in the big 5 but he has been inconsistent for the olyroos it has to be said. He might also be fatigued by the long season which is harder on a young body

+xThat's a strong 11. I'd replace Mauragis with Farrell and Velupillay with G. Kuol. agree those are stronger players. Could be rotating or farrel could be out of form since he is better

Irankunda would really cook against a team like this.

No idea why Mo Toure was given the penalty. He just has no fluidity in his shooting, you could tell he was going to miss it. The runup was so telling of where he was going to shoot it as well.

We have better energy than last game but lack the confident intent and precision we had int he friendlies
Look nervous. Still the energy is good

Indonesia really getting in our faces and quite skillful. We are doing well to be marginally on top.

It's so obvious by now, don't let Mo Toure or Garang take penalties.

Man if Irankunda was playing there's no way Indonesia could play with such a high line. The counter-attack would be too intense.

So many unforced errors from oz but the energy is good. If they can get through this match they might start to get the confidence back
Mentally i think theyve been off this tournament

+xWe concede What a nightmare this asian cup hss been so far Huge 2nd half Man this is so brutal. If we don't make it out of the group. Vidmar has to go. Also, Velupillay has been a net negative today. Make a half-time sub.

After beating a player overhits a ball by 20 metres. These players are unrecognizable from what theyve done over the last 12 months

I know it we are gonna lose. This is the worse U23 squad. Panic and can't keep possession. This coach should get fired immediately.
