I'm always looking at different apps, different technology around football and this one I could not pass up. They also have a website fwiw. Also get around Live Soccer TV and Mobdro.

So two games left in the FFV qualifying, the round 6 games start from May 16, Monday night.

Here are my tips:

FC Bulleen Lions   v   Avondale FC
Melbourne Knights   v   Dandenong City
Green Gully    v   Heidelberg United
Malvern City FC    v   Hume City FC
Richmond SC   v   Kingston City FC
Murray United   v   Bentleigh Greens
St Albans Saints   v   Port Melbourne Sharks
North Geelong Warriors   v   South Melbourne

St Albans could pull off an upset. Wouldn't be surprised if Kingston did too.

Well one club appears to think that the other has forfeited. The other thinks the match has been postponed till next week.

One of them must be wrong.

yep sure is looking that way - missed comms between both or a complete F up, as said hopefully I find out some goss on this tonight.

Well, lack of comms as I thought.
Our side was liaising with FNS or the FFA advising having trouble getting a full 1st's squad for scheduled game 2days ago due to work commitments for some players but not getting return calls quick enough.
In the meantime wagga were not replying as well, hence they thinking its a forfeit.
Since, Magic were offered 2 dates to play, the 11 or the following Sunday from memory.
Obviously picked the 11th next week, wagga since had been trying to play hard ball hoping that the game would be canned in favour to them giving them a walk into the next round. I expect sanity will prevail and wagga accept the 11th.
This has riled the Magic players and are fapping to get down to Wagga next week I was told.

Bad luck to the Hawkes but United are playing well hard to beat.

Certainly some lack of comms going on here. As of training on Tuesday night the Wagga players were still expecting to play the next day. Everything was still in place for the game, players, coaches and volunteers had all taken the time off work for Wednesday. The first they heard that Gladesville were not coming was Wednesday morning, and they had to spend all day getting onto people that the game was off, referees, the 2 local tv stations and paper who were coming to cover the match, the council who have to ensure that the main lights can be operated.

Now FNSW are putting out mixed message on the result.
Yesterday afternoon the FNSW website stated "Wagga City Wanderers won the right to play in round 7 of the Westfield FFA Cup after its match against Gladesville Ryde Magic has been deemed a forfeit."

Now today the FNSW website states "Details on the match between the Wagga City Wanderers and Gladesville Ryde Magic will be confirmed soon on the FNSW website."

The FFA Cup website now has Wagga City Wanderers 0 def. Gladesville Ryde Magic 0

Unlucky for St. Albans and north Geelong that they won't get a true home advantage with neither club capable of hosting night games, assuming both will host at Knights stadium.

True, but not too far for St Albans fans to travel. They did well in the FFA Cup last year when playing at Knights Stadium against other state league and NPL sides, only to eventually lose to Perth.

I'll be at the Gully game, looking forward to it.

my tips from nsw to go through and join Blacktown City:

Bonnyrigg
Sydney United
Wollongong Wolves
Manly United
Marconi

in saying that , olympic are chance against United, and Parra would fancy an upset against Bonno given they beat them last week in the league. marconi should be too strong for Berries, ditto manly for Mounties and Wolves should have too much firepower and easily beat either Wagga or Gladesville.

My tips:

Wollongong Wolves v Wagga City Wanderers
Parramatta FC v Bonnyrigg White Eagles
Sydney United v Sydney Olympic
Manly United FC v Mounties Wanderers
Marconi Stallions v Bankstown Berries

Would love to see Wagga qualify, but it might be a tough ask coming up away from home against an NPL 1 club. They've had a pretty easy run up until now, facing some pretty low league teams, and having home advantage every time. I guess it's still possible, but I'd be surprised if they won. Wollongong Wolves to make their 2nd appearance in the FFA Cup. Hopefully they pull another A-League team and get a decent crowd down at WIN Stadium.

I'm tipping Bonnyrigg to be too strong against improved Parramatta. Unlike the first season of the cup, Parramatta won't get two bites of the cherry to qualify. If they do, I can't see them hosting games at Melita. Especially against an A-League team. Those'll be surely moved to Parramatta Stadium.

Manly United to beat Mounty County and qualify for their second time. Mounty County have been rather resurgent this season in the NPL, but I can't see them winning against a good Northern Beaches side.

Sydney United v Sydney Olympic. An epic clash to decide who qualifies. Two heavyweights of Australian football. It's like Melbourne Knights v South Melbourne in the last two Victorian qualifications. Sydney United have been pretty good this season in the NPL1, and they've been dominant in the cup. I'm expecting them to get through for their 3rd qualification. Heartbreak for the Oh-Lym-Pic teenagers. ;)

Marconi are my tip to also qualify for their first FFA Cup. Despite being relegated to the NPL2 at the end of the last season, they've done well to get to this point in the cup. Hopefully they can surprise a few people and do well. Whether they play at Marconi Stadium is another question altogether. Something tells me it's not up to scratch should they draw an A-League club. Happy to be proven wrong though.

All the non NPLV teams are playing an NPLV team. Is the draw seeded, or is that a coincidence?

Could be....

I just saw the facebook vid from the draw. Id call for the 3rd umpire to see if they added in the voice over after the recording =p~

It sure does smell eh.
I know Magic had done the right thing and have logged every attempt for proof that they did contact both FNSW and Wagga.
I'm OS so am not on the pulse with the club for now but in time will follow it up.

not sure about bonnyrigg they have powerlines that run across the field lol. im sure HAL teams would say something about that.
