Besides, I'm sure letting in millions of homophobic, misogynistic and deeply devout young Muslim men will only be a good thing

I must have missed that part of our immigration policy, how silly of me. ](*,)

Anyway, you are all missing my point. I am not talking about a religious war, i am talking about what is essentially another Cold War with numerous proxy wars being fought and an arms build along the Russian border on both sides

> Swallowing Western propaganda

I bet you think Assad is bad, multiculturalism is good and Russia represents all that is wrong with the world.

America is far far far worse, it's only that we're their allies that we excuse it.

Seems we've all forgotten about that hospital bombing, if Russia had done it there'd be calls for war.

"and an arms build along the Russian border on both sides"

Mutual build up of arms is hardly western propaganda. Both sides have been conducting extremely provocative military exercises/War games on the borders with numerous violations of sovereign air space. The west has again put in place heavy embargoes which has sent the ruble plummeting, essentially backing Russia in to an us vs them mentality.

I'm of the opinion that the cold war never really ended, Russia merely took a few steps backwards. Only in the last 10 years or so have they started attempting to flex their muscle again. Most notably evidenced with their little war in Georgia that happened a few years back, which the Russians are still holding their thumb over Georgia on in terms of South Ossettia.

WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

even though it feels like the world is going to shit atm....if you look at it in the overall context, we are living in the most peaceful times ever.

the number of wars happening on the planet at the moment are at an all time low.

with globalisation and the importance of business , there will be skirmishes but not full on wars as in the past....there is too much economically to lose.
