What a sad and disgusting world we live in. So much will change everywhere in the world after this. Terrifying that people like this with no thought or remorse walk freely among us and are capable of such a horrifying act as this. Its times like these i reflect and am thankful i live where i do. Prayers to all the people who have lost and might lose there lives today/tonight. I hope the scum who have committed these crimes get what they deserve.

Edited by paladisious: 14/11/2015 12:06:33 PM I think its pretty obvious to those of us in the know that he was a Christian. Let them deny it all they want. Based in his manifesto it's clear he wasn't a fundamentalist Christian, and his actions were inspired more by political ideology than religion. It's a non sequitur to suggest that that because he is Chrstian and he is a terrorist this is therefore Christian terrorism, when the political and ideology aspects of his motivation were stronger motivating forces. This contrasts with the Islamic State who are trying to establish a worldwide Islamic caliphate with an Isalmic concept of society and law, based on the fundamentalism aspects of he Koran.

Edited by MrBrisbane: 14/11/2015 12:49:41 PM It is not clear whether it was different terrorist at each venue or perhaps the same terrorists travelling around. There has been reports that at least one of the attacks was a sort of drive by shooting. Most likely they stopped jumped out of the vehicle and shoot up the restaurant then jumped back in their vehicle and continued on. There are reports of five attackers killed and at least one arrested, perhaps two. Edited by Drunken_Fish: 14/11/2015 12:56:07 PM

Turning Syria into a desolate waste land will NOT stop extremist coming from other parts of the world, it may cause there to be more attacks. There is only one way that humans can stop humans killing each other and that is humans killing each other to extinction.

Simplistic and copped a lot of stick but he was right. In every war of baddies vs baddies there is a lesser of 2 evils. ISIS need to be permanently obliterated and if that means turning Syria into a desolate waste land so be it. Right so millions should die to wipe out a few thousand lunatics. And on another matter how happy would you be if your son or brother went over there and got killed. So easy to be an armchair general.

Fans killed in terror attacks at Stade de France friendly Three fans were killed after a bomb blast at the Stade de France during the international football friendly between France and Germany. An explosion was heard during the first half of the game and French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet later confirmed to Canal+ that three fans had lost their lives in the Gate J part of the ground. The bombing came as part of wider terror attacks throughout Paris..... http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2015/11/14/fans-killed-terror-attacks-stade-de-france-friendly

Again you are pointing out 1 christian fuckwit compared to 1 000 000 islamic nutcases. Not sure what you're trying to argue. Every single other Christian in existence is morally perfect? Yes, Islamic terrorism is really bad, but yes there are bad people from other religions too, and the root source of evil is in no way property of just one religion. I've stated my case and won't argue this any further. And I'll state mine. If you're tallying up terrorist attacks in the last 20 years the Islamic mob are streets ahead. For all intents and purposes one religion (and it's Islam) is the root source. Namby pambying around the issue and bringing up the crusades (as someone no doubt will in a minute) does not hide the fact that Islam and it's nutcase adherents are the problem. I have not time for Christians either.

It usually seems that numbers go up during an event like this but eventually they tend to be revised down a bit. 9/11 figures ended up being quite a bit lower than originally thought.

I doubt it will get quite that high unless the number of 100 in the Bataclan is very low. There was reports of 40 before the assault on the Bataclan, which then was stated to have a toll of 100. It is not clear whether the 40 contained some of the dead from the Bataclan already. 118 is the figure the BBC is stating but I have seen 140 as well.

Wickedness is a trait of the human race, some people for whatever reason, display its out workings to a greater extent than most. People can hate based on difference, religion provides a difference that can be exploited to encourage people to do wicked things.
