Based in his manifesto it's clear he wasn't a fundamentalist Christian, and his actions were inspired more by political ideology than religion. It's a non sequitur to suggest that that because he is Chrstian and he is a terrorist this is therefore Christian terrorism, when the political and ideology aspects of his motivation were stronger motivating forces. This contrasts with the Islamic State who are trying to establish a worldwide Islamic caliphate with an Isalmic concept of society and law, based on the fundamentalism aspects of he Koran.

What a sad and disgusting world we live in. So much will change everywhere in the world after this. im Living in Sydney and the bulk of the Syrians will be coming here. im sure most are ok...but all it takes are a few of them to make the Lindt siege look like mickey mouse.
As a sydneysider i am mildly concerned of the possibily of ISiS members among the intake
but Mcjules living in his humble abode in Adelaide will attest everything will be ok and that if i complain then im a bigot.

it wont do much as long as the government has a lax screening system for immigration.
im not anti immigration but you cant have a process where you just have a mass influx like the syrian refugees without a rigid screening process

Yep we need detailed and complete background checks on every single one of them. If even something is .05% suss. entry denied

True. We have to start reconsidering our humanitarian intake, and whether in the current climate we can continue to support more Islamic refugees. I understand that it would go down very badly, we'd be accused of racism, cruelty, lack of humanity etc, but that might be a less worse consequence than inviting in terrorists or those susceptible to radicalisation.
