I no what use both are going through i recently felt the same. What worked for me was going for runs or doing boxing sessions, realeses a shitload of stress and try to have fun, if u can.

Seriously I was thinking about doing boxing. Been thinking about doing it for ages. Maybe in the off season. Maybe I should just do some street fighting. Im borderline schizophrenic so a local fight club will probably start up soon...

Let me put it in a way you might understand. Say ur "secret" gets out and you cop shit from all your mates and everyone around you, you get singled out, bashed and abused. All this makes you so depressed and you now have no-one to turn to,and resort to hurting yourself. Sure this situation is unpractical but it can still happen. Would it be such an unimportant matter then, when its happening to you. I think not, everyone can say how little something is til it affects them,your a perfect example.

On the topic at hand, Manufan, I can see where you're coming from, but I don't think anyone in this thread has made fun of depression, or made out to be any less serious than it is. We were just poking a bit of fun at mk and Marconi. I'd like to think that everyone here would try to help someone who was seriously troubled, but we could tell that they weren't, and so a lighter approach was taken. No harm done.
