Yer, start Monday. Excited but nervous.

It's extra daunting if you don't know anyone doing the same thing you're doing. I turned up thinking I was on my own, but I ran into a couple of my mates from cricket who also did engineering, so that solved that problem.

Don't worry, it's easy to make new friends at uni.

Yeah, Orientation Yesterday, didn't know anyone. Kinda made a friend, but she's a bit too chatty for my liking.

Gonna be fun, but the first couple of weeks are gonna be tough. Once i think i get settled, i'll be fine.

Yeah, the first week might be a bit awkward, but you'll be ok after that.

Making friends at uni is easy. Usually, most people are quite approachable and good to talk to. Remember, most people there will be on their own too. For some subjects groupwork can be involved and usually, you get put in with a group of random people, but in a way, it's good as you get some pretty good friendships out of that.

W: Was going to ask out friend yesterday at BBQ. Of course, because I'm a shy guy, I didn't want to ask her in front of everyone else. Didn't get a chance alone with her until when she was leaving. Said i wanted to talk bout something with her. We were about to talk in my room and then she had to carry stuff to the car. She suggested I text her, and I said it was a bit more important than that. I think she realized what I meant then. She said she'd talk about this with me next Saturday. So I've got to wait a week before I know whether she'll say yes.
B: All day COD at mates today. No lag whatsoever

It's gonna be the longest, most emotionally nerve killing, sleep deprived week you'll have in a long time. And as much as you try to hide it, everyones gonna notice you being slightly differant this week.
