 hahahahaha Yeah, im gonna miss school, im sick of it, and what not, but it's weird not having to come back, iv'e gotten so used to the 5 days week, 8.30-3.20 routine, i feel like im gonna miss it, and despite everyone saying you'll keep in touch, you will always have a few people you wont see for 40 odd years down the track.

It's the trials that I have on Wednesday and Thursday that I'm stressing out about. I'm only really studying for History though seeing as I'm not doing maths, a science or geography next year. I can't really study for English either, just hope it's a past paper and I'm going to go through all the long responses and get ideas for them so I have something when I go in.

Its good leaving school in that you keep in touch with the people that you want to so leaving school is basically a process of filtering out dickheads or people you just don't talk to. I find it funny when you bump into some people from school and they want to have some big catch-up and you realise, i didnt give a fuck about you then so why should i now? But then again, so many good memories come from school and i know i only seem to remember the good stuff so you do end up missing it.

Yeah exactly like i've got people from Primary School adding me on Facebook now like wtf. We weren't friends then what makes you think I want to be now. Or if I do talk to them we have this one long ass conversation and never talk again. What i'll miss most about school is football games at lunch, like 50 people scrambling lol so good. I'm planning to not keep in contact with any of my friends at school. I know this may sound mean, but they're currently there to keep me from being a loner throughout my school life. They don't really have any of the same interests as me, are way too immature for me and I'm hoping when I go to uni I'll meet people that I can easily relate to and become real friends with, without putting on a facade.

I can't say I was of the same idea, but I do get what you mean. At uni, you will undoubtedly meet new and interesting people, but to be honest, its just not exactly the same as the friends you've known for over a decade. I mean uni friends are great, but don't just discard your high school friends like a used tissue. That's my two cents on it anyway.

I haven't been able to be the real me or anything. Chances are they're going to dog me anyway when I come out...Sure they could change, but I wouldn't bet on it. I have other friends that I've been good friends with for ages, just not at school.

BTW, s_f, barely any of my HS friends, if any, had similar interests to me. Football especially. We had many varying interests. I don't get to see them as much as I'd like because of uni and work, but its always fantastic to meet up once again.

Yeah s_f, I didn't take your 'secret' into consideration. I see what you mean now. If they ditch you over that, then they're definitely not real friends at all.

Looking for a UAI of about 89 only need a 81 but need a band 5or6 in English. and s_f if they are gonna dog you because of that fuck em. I'm the same more mates outside of school then in school its better.

Sure I might meet up with them here and there but I don't think I'll be keeping in a great deal of contact with them, they probably won't want to anyway lol

I might be going to uni at Notre Dame in Broadway, or Western Sydney. I wanna do media and communications, and a history course, since i seem to ace history. I'm not going to schoolies, i don't wanna go simply cause the whole Idea of thousands of kids drunk (despite all the oppotunites to get laid) just isn't appealing. I still got mates staying in sydney so we'll just have heaps of parties, and you guys can come if you want

But then found a course at Uni of Canberra Sports media that goes straight into Sports Journalism so don't nknow which to choose. I'm not going schoolies either cbf really would rather stay in Sydney and get fucked up with mates, and probably go down to my holiday house on the coast. Beach+mates+compius amounts of alcohol= Craziest summer ever. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 28/9/2009 08:11:14 PM
