In Year 10 we were already doing 2000 word essays.

Well I'm in the equivalent of your yr10.
Anyway those are like exam essays where I only have 3 hours to write 5 of them. For History essays I usually write over 1000 words.
And why would you bother making your essays really long if you can still cover all the points and get top marks in half the amount of words as other people?

worst: centrelink being fucks. Theyre refusing youth allowance because i have too much in an account. you can have x amount invested but as soon as you take it out you have to spend it. you cant have x amount just sitting in your account. wtf.

Worst: Saw a couple of depressing movies today. One about 9/11 which showed people jumping to their deaths and it was really hard-hitting, the interviews with those who'd had their spouse call them to tell them they were gonna die was so sad. Also saw Downfall in History. Great movie, but so depressing. Sad to see what the people were like in Germany at the time.

Worst: This will not end well. I have severely underprepared in a subject you cannot underprepare for and been fucked over by a tightly pack exam schedule. Was banking on an A+ but im gonna be lucky to get an A/B+. Itll be the difference between me getting an 85 for my ATAR and me getting much closer to 90+.
