Best: Yesterday's traffic chaos in Sydney was fantastic for my son and I. He spent the morning at my office instead of school (impossible to reach by road).
Best: My daughter dancing along to the Eurovision last night
Worst: Having to fly off for 3 weeks - Utd v Barca CL Final is a silver lining.

Best: 7 hours of fencing yesterday, came 2nd in the teams event
Worst: Man Utd winning the premier league
Worst: Possibly the worst installment of Eurovision to date (although i havent seen the final yet)

Worst: Massive hangover after my bucks night
Even Worse: Welts all over me from paintball yesterday. Heavy bruising :?

Best: Work last night, smoking hot chick, completely smashed, thought she'd do a topless run around the bar. The bouncers reluctently had to throw her out after her third lap.

Worst: Wittnessed my first pub fight at work. Some drunk guy just randomly snapped and started punching Bilal, the smallest bouncer, before being thrown down the stairs, then continued fighting with 5 other bouncers who had him in a choke-hold. The fight continued outside. Poor Bilal had blood streaming down his face, and he's the friendliest bouncer on the team.

Best: Got $34 in tips :D

Unity Hall Hotel. I'm working Saturday nights 9pm-3am as a Glassy atm.

Best: Late start today
Best: Villa beating Arsenal
Worst: Hammers got relegated. Always had a bit of a liking to them after the club I used to play for were the Hammers.

Worst: Cold getting even worse. Study for Japanese speech is hard. Forgot my key and couldn't find spare one so had to wait for mum to come home after school. Also, mum gave me wrong sandwich.
Best: Not very much at all

Tough pub mate. Enjoy it.

It was the only pub that rang me back :lol:. I put my resume into the Unity, Town Hall, Belgian, London, Dicks, Royal Oak, The Monkey, William Wallace, basically every pub within a 20 minute walking radius, and they were the only one that gave me a ring back - albeit it 2 months later. I narrowed it down to 2 reasons:

1) Seeing as this is my first 'bar work' as of sorts, most places want expirience, the Unity seems to hire a fair few students, and a few of the people I'm working with, this is their first bar work too.

2) My grandfather is a regular there on Friday's and is good friends with the boss. I remember my grandfather saying he was having a word with him, and he slipped my resume to the top of the pile. :D

It's OK to be honest. I'm expecting to see a few pub fights, it's the only pub that's open untill 3am in Balmain I think, and it's good, because it's a 2 minute walk to my house. It's also cause there's a nightclub upstairs. The money's good, so i'm not whinging :)

I know where I'm going next time i'm trashin around Balmain ;)

Best: Won 13-3 at football today. I scored twice, one Yaya Toure-esque smash from 6 yards, the other a slalom past four defender (although two of them stopped because the ref thought the ball had gone out, then waved play on)

Worst: Just found out my uncle has been in a motorcycle accident... Broke both arms, crushed vertebrae and he is bleeding in his brain. In an induced coma now, and they're operating on him.

That's rough :? hope he recovers fine.

Thanks guys. Been through one round of surgery to remove the bleeding from his brain... leaving his skull open to see if it starts again in the next 24 hours... if not then they can move on and fix the rest of his body. And there's still a danger he'll fall into a coma.

Worst: Best friend had a breakdown today. Knew it was coming but still hard to take.

I hate how the riders think they own the road in traffic and come out of nowhere just as you take off, you never expect it and I'm sure I've almost hit a couple of them!

Hope your uncle will be alright though mate. :)
