Got to say how was Rossi's last race against Marquez ! 39yrs and still going to the limit against the young ones. Saying that wish Stoner was still at it - be interesting how long he hangs around testing for Duke once Jorge arrives for next season. Bravo Miller, finally gained a top 10 finish.
Edited by LFC.: 10/6/2016 01:11:11 PM True, tactics still played a part yet the drivers still trusted their gut instinct. Pretty crazy re Rossi, no denying his status within the sport as an absolute legend. As far as Stoner goes.. I just can't follow his movements at all. Any idea where he could go next?

Ah yes Canada :d Any bets on who will end up in the wall this year? I can see a Mercedes in there, no idea which one though. I don't even know why, pure gut feeling.

As much as I still watch F1 - just as the newer cars of today driver skill is being taken away by electronics. As you say, gut instinct is not a player anymore. As for CS, no doubt he will have a testing gig somewhere, to date he was still clocking faster times while testing the duke compared to Dovi and Iannone (when he keeps upright lol).... I'll ask my bro if he hears of anything being he's amongst the cycling hierarchy here. Look forward to Canada - some great races over the years, I watched a Alan Jones winning in his TAG Williams back in the day x 2 in Canada :)

Remember the great Murrayism? If is F1 backwards. But i cant wait to see Baku either, how about portable road on the cobblestone streets?!

maybe i am being harsh and they were unlucky, the pit stop mistake might have cost Dan 1 stop max but it might have affected nothing i just feel he deserves a better sunday than he has gotten for a while. i have only seen a few pictures but it looks like there is a castle right next to the circuit, i honestly dont know what to make of it because i never expected to see anything like it in formula one, it even looks weird just by looking at the map of the circuit, usually i dont pay much attention to practice but i am watching every session just so i can take in how odd the circuit seems to be Edited by swarth: 14/6/2016 09:29:47 AM

Dan unlucky to get stuck behind Rosberg after the first corner debacle, can sense his frustration building without a doubt.

Daniel Ricciardo's virtual lap of the new baku circuit. Dont think the RB's will have a good time at this new circuit.

Horner blaming their low downforce strategy/setup. They didn't really have a choice tbh, the RB chassis excels at mid and high speed corners but at a place like Baku they never stood a chance

Surprised they managed 4th (I'm accounting for Perez not needing the gearbox change and Hamilton not crashing) in qualifying. I suppose, they probably could put everything into one lap and get that result quite easily, but over a race distance on that track, with the car they have at the moment, easy to see them drop off the pace so much during the race as well.

Honda really like Jack Miller, no matter how you get a win you take it with both hands. Onya mate - hope this gives you the confidence you needed to mount a better challenge next season.

So yeah, this gives me ultimate satisfaction. It's worth sitting through all 20 minutes. Not quite as fast as the bikes, but fuck me this is quick. Apparently he smashed the record around IoMTT for a car.
