Yes, Yuning Zhang. Miron Bleiberg, ever the loose canon, trumpeted the signing of the "Chinese Beckham" to end the Roars goalscoring woes. Plus open the Roar up huge interest from millions upon millions of Chinese fans desperate to follow Zhang in the A League.

He arrived woefully out of of condition, but Miron played him anyway for, I think, 3 seriously unimpressive weeks before the Chinese Beckham went back to China for his wedding for three weeks, or it might have been 6, I really can't remember that well. Was a long time ago.

Anyway, back he came having promised to keep his fitness up and keep seriously overweight and even more useless than before. Then, mercifully, Miron was sacked and Farina took over and allowed Zhang to continue his career as David Beckham back in China. 

Bleiberg presumably went back to his carpet business before being allowed to fuck up Gold Coast United.

Maaaate, all banter aside, it was a cracking night and a cracking game, 3 goals down in the first 20 minutes only to run riot in the second half and score 4 in 20 minutes.,  match had it all two penalties, a red card..., AND to top it off counted for this year championship AND last year's because the slimy board at Avondale ( team we beat) took the FFV to court t ensure that last years season gets completed this year so they could at least have won one title in their pathetic history... The fact that they have blown last years almost unassailable lead and this year also, and we caused that is jut too sweet to even begin to explain...... will be remembering this one in my doddles I reckon.
