Since our bowling performs most days I'll have a cutoff for averages above 30 and less than 20 games (keep an eye on joe paris with a bowling average of 19 after 6 games and 20 after 15 list a games though!)

Cummins: 29.84
Ahmed: 29.76
Tremain: 29.31
Coulter-Nile: 28.97
Mennie: 28.79
Henriques: 28.00
Bollinger: 28.00
Siddle: 27.91
Fielding: 27.92
Mitch Marsh: 27.55
Cutting: 27.49
Hastings: 26.57
Starc: 26.5
Behrendorff: 25.45
Hazelwood: 25.05
O'Keefe: 24.79
Chad Sayers: 24.69
James Pattinson: 24.63
Faulkner: 24.26
Bird: 23.77

Based on this you would have Bird Faulkner and Pattinson (maybe swap starc for one for the lh variety and the fact he is improving so quick) with O'keefe as the spinner. So maybe Faulkner Bird/Pattinson Starc and O'keefe as an attack

Where are you getting these averages from?

That Sandhu one doesn't look right to me.

From Cricinfo:

12/13: 14 wickets @ 11 (2 Matches)
13/14: 7 wickets @ 52 (4 Matches)
14/15: 15 wickets @ 47 (8 Matches)
15/16: 8 wickets @ 59 (7 Matches)

The guy burst onto the scene with a lot of promise but he's been pretty rubbish lately, don't think he's even making the Shield side at the moment. His best bet is to work on his offies (in addition to his pace bowling) and then maybe one day he'll get a crack in India or the UAE.

Anyway not including Starc & Hazlewood, the two clear standouts in that list are Bird & Pattinson.

That's pretty obvious though as they've both done the job for Australia in the past;

Bird 21 wickets @ 25. (Unfortunately the selectors don't like the guy)
Pattinson 70 wickets @ 26. (Constantly injured)

I think you may have used Sandhu and Paris averages from List A cricket.

Paris figures are still impressive though;

6 Matches 35 wickets @ 19 (Still a long way to go though)

This and the other two threads I made (on allrounders and batsmen) me realize we actually have the cattle to have an internationally competitive team about the same level as what we had in the mid 90s but the selectors may be costing us

James Pattinson is quality, but he cannot stay fit. He can also bat a bit, really need him fit and firing in the side.
Bird is very good, but I am not sure his claim is as strong. Clearly one of the top 5-6 bowlers.

Sayers is doing very well, perhaps he is a better option than Mennie
