+xHow much does KGV hold? Is it the biggest rectangular stadium in tas? KGV Football Park holds 4,000. Yes it is the biggest rectangular stadium in Tasmania but it's very out dated and not much space available to updated/expand. http://walterpless.com.au/2012/august/melbourne-victory-produce-polished-display-to-down-tasmania.htmlhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09fOLP3enGY&feature=youtu.be

A possible 29 teams can enter but unlikely any of the Southern Regional Clubs would enter as scores would be lop sided.
PS4 NPL - Tasmania

Veto Southern Championship
Beachside Glenorchy Knights Hobart United Metro Nelson Eastern Suburbs New Town Eagles Southern FC Taroona FC University
Veto Northern Championship

+x+x+x+xCheers. I'll have a look what I can do when I get the chance. I'll hold off on the Hobart Zebras till i can see how they put it on the kit(unless you already have it? ) Any idea when the fixture is released or when the Lakoseljac Cup is drawn? No I don't have the Hobart Zebras kit. The fixture for the NPL in past seasons has been released in the 3rd week of January. But new Competition Manager Glen McNeill will commence with FFT at the start of February 2017 so might be delayed until then. The Lakoseljac Cup (Westfield FFA Cup Qualifiers) is usually drawn in the 3rd week of February. Number of teams entered in pervious seasons. 2014 - 18 teams 2015 - 18 teams 2016 - 19 teams Hopefully some more teams will participate this time round. 22 teams should be a realistic target. 22 teams should be the goal. Maybe more. Are there many regional leagues in tassie? Basically just the Northern and Southern Regions I'm pretty sure. 10 clubs in the Southern Championship - not including NPL Reserves and 8 in the Northern Championship - including NPL Reserves then obviously you go through all your different divisions and age groups which is basically the same clubs regurgitated, might be a few different clubs pop up through the social/amatuer comps in the south but I know the North is basically the same 8 clubs feeding all grades/dvisions/age groups. That's boring.

+xHere is something I've spent abit of time doing the last day or so whenever I get the chance. Based off last years kits and sponsors, can change if there is any changes this season. image upload with preview Wow this is amazing, great work. Close to perfect. Just a few things that I noticed but being very picky. The Clarence United kit is missing the black trimming on the neck. Also the NPL and club logo needs to be in line with black strip on chest. http://www-static2.spulsecdn.net/pics/00/35/90/01/35900173_1_O.jpgFor Devonport Strikers sponsor logo should be in the format below. Blue socks not yellow but i must admit the yellow looks better, no yellow trim on shorts and it would be awesome if you could add those six lines on the kit. http://sliceofcheese.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/zupo1.jpghttps://www.facebook.com/MyPathway/photos/a.248638451905258.37370.162828090486295/768407526595012/?type=1&theater
Honda will be the on the Hobart Zebras kit this coming season. Hopefully that all helps.

New direction for Strikers
ARRIVAL: Newly appointed Devonport Strikers coach Chris Gallo visited the Coast this week and will return in January ahead of season 2017. Picture: Cordell Richardson. Chris Gallo has joined the Devonport Strikers with a wealth of experience from some of the best soccer programs in England. The newly appointed coach plans to build on the success the club achieved in 2016 but also move in a new direction and help focus on the youth on the North-West Coast. Gallo joined the Strikers from a one year stint as Technical Director with Manly United Football Club where he has also played seniors. His experience stretches back to his teenage years where he travelled to England before being picked up by Championship side, Hull City. The 26-year-old is from Sydney originally but spent time in England playing with Hull City before coaching roles came up with Notts County, York City and again with Hull. “When I was 16 I went over to England just to play some friendly games really and I got picked up there by Hull City,” Gallo said. “From there it escalated quickly really, I played one year pro there under Phil Brown. “I got injured shortly after that and didn’t renew my contract so I moved back to Sydney and played for Manly where I play under-18s to the first team. ”His coaching resume is also impressive at a young age having putting time into his coaching career from a young age. “I did my advanced coaching courses here, I did a C licence here and went off and wanted to expand myself. “I got in touch with contacts in England and did my B and A licence there. “My first job was at Notts County and then moved to York City and then back to Hull City. ”After returning to Sydney he spent a year with Manly United once again and said his ambition to coach at a higher level had led him to Devonport. “Most of my coaching has been with youth and I wanted to expand and stretch myself in terms of my development and that has led me here. “They have two astro turf pitches and a grass pitch so everything is there ready to go and I want to help them capitalise. “We need to be comparing ourselves to what the best NPL clubs are doing in Sydney and Melbourne, there’s a lot to be done but we need to be patient.” Gallo said he was aiming for success with the Strikers but also wanted to take the club in a new direction. “We should start blooding youth players into the competition but also aim to win games in the first team. Having met the team early this week, Gallo said he had been impressed with how humble the players were. “The guys have a massive work ethic, there’s a lot to work on if I’m honest but that’s a great thing. “There’s a massive thirst for knowledge there which is great.”
