Contestant # 3 - Wigan Athletic
Where to start with this Circus ? Having spent 8 years in the Premier League until 2013, yoyo'd between The Championship and League 1 since Downfall has come after the Dave Whelan, who'd owned the club for 23 years, sold it to some dodgy fuckers from Hong Kong at the end of 2018 They onsold it to even more dodgy fuckers (with EFL approval !) from Hong Kong, who then didn't hand over any cash and put the club into Administration less than a month later The 12 point deduction for being dodgy fuckers meant they got relegated (Barnsley say Thanks!) Administrators have been running it all this season. Some more dodgy fuckers from Spain almost bought it before being found to be dodgy fuckers in time. Now seems enough Bahranian cash has appeared to get the Inland Revenue off their backs and not go totally bust as they can't start next season in Administration again Newly approved Owners on March 31 has been followed by 3 consecutive wins to dig them out of the League 1 shit-fight for now

Contestant # 4 - AFC Wimbledon
Technically only 18 years old, The "Real Wimbledon" has climbed from their starting point in the 9th Tier to the same level as the Fake Dons who imported the clubs Status across to Milton Keynes in 2003 in order to justify a Real Estate deal (Sound familiar ?) Ironically, after 30 years of ground-sharing following Hillsborough, and having finally managed to build a new Stadium next door to the original Plough Lane, it has been used without Spectators due to COVID this Season

Swindon have to win their last 3 and pray Looks ominous for bottom 4 as Wimbledon and Wigan have both won 4 in a row

Top 4 all drew, so it's as you were but it's almost too late for Rochdale and Northampton Swindon 100% down as well now

Championship Watch :Rotherham Chase # 7
How to fuck up your games in hand 101
1. Lose 4 in a row
How to still be in with a chance 101
2. Get Derby to lose 5 in a row
4 games in 12 days now, another chance tonight

Contestant # 5 - Rochdale
Having spent most of their League life in the 4th tier and never in the 2nd, these past 7 years in the 3rd has seen their highest ever finish at 8th.
But as minnows in the League and finishing 20th, 16th and 18th in the last 3 seasons, this years struggle was the bookies favourite
Probably happy to still be in business, COVID'n'all, having seen their main rivals Bury go to the wall the previous year due to more dodgy Developer takeovers
From an article about the recent Fan Forum
This muddle overshadowed more serious messages coming from the assembled head honchos, the main one being that we are absolutely skint and just getting to the end of the season solvent would better remaining in League One as an achievement.

Championship Watch : Rotherham Chase # 8
Rotherham make it 5 losses in a row and it looks like they've blown the opportunity Saving grace maybe that Derby and Sheffield Wednesday play each other on the last day and may end up eating each other Final catch up game after this weekends full round

+xLast catchup game tonight Bit of a must win for Rochdale, only a point and it's virtually curtains So Rochdale are 3-2 up in the 83rd Minute, and the Ref gives the dodgiest penalty but then in the 97th minute

Championship Watch : Rotherham Chase # 9
So, Sheffield Wednesday on the Saturday Lunchtime Slot,
Win or draw and they're still alive, at least for a nervous couple of hours
Rotherham now relying on the hopelessly out of form Derby dropping points

Rochdale , in theory, look least likely to lose, but again really need to win Unless Wigan can score a major upset away to the Leaders, they look like the 2 who'll be fighting for the last dropspot next weekend

good updates mate. I was with my Derby mate this morn, was having good banter with him. Saying losing 9 injured start up players nothing more you can do. He has strong hopes they will survive.

Championship Watch : Rotherham Chase # 10Derbys arch rivals Forest just happened to have let Wednesday get a point, so they're still in the mix Rotherhams last catch up game tonight, can they do it ? With their Goal difference, 2 wins will keep them up, and maybe just 1 Tonight they will have played 11 games in 32 days

+xgreat last game summary - I will lol IF Derby lose or draw. Haven't picked up a point in the last 6, and Rotherham unfortunately haven't won any of their last 7 Wednesday however have come from an impossible situation, to a chance and being in every game They have the momentum so to my mind they look better odds than the bookies

If things weren't Bad Enough # 1 - Derby County
Derby have lost 6 in a row, and if they lose tomorrow they are Down
But just to Ice the Cake, now their Dodgy Sale is looking less likely again
Having called off the Sale to an Arab mob in March now they're trying to be bought by a 29 year old ex-boxer
Erik Alonso is Spanish but works as an Asian Player Agent and makes all sorts of claims of contacts at Real Madrid and wants a piece of Indonesian Football.
Still to pass the "fit and proper" owners test, he comes from a recent highly myserious involvement with Sheffield Wednesday and a very short lived takeover attempt there.
Ironic if Wednesday send Derby down this weekend and he bales out on buying a League 1 club

If things weren't Bad Enough # 2 - Sheffield Wednesday
Dodgy previous accounting trying to avoid the Loss making rules meant Wednesday started the Season on -12 points.
If it had been applied the Season before, Wednesday would already be in League 1, but that's another story (sorry Charlton)
It got halved to - 6 points in November, but they've still spent the whole season in the drop zone.
PFA were called in at Christmas when players weren't paid.
4 Managers later, they're unable to do much in the Transfer market or pay high wages.
Now the 4th Manager has contracted Pneumonia whilst recovering from COVID-19
Blood clots on his Lungs means he hasn't yet returned
So now they're effectively under their 5th Manger in Assistant Jamie Davies for the Big Game
