Nah I dont think he was lying. I just dont think hes telling us the full story. Apparently he trialed for Bolton a few years ago too. Im dont think hes the sort of person who needs to lie to make everyone think better of him. Maybe hes just really good at it though.

Not Sate but Bendigo Leage in indoor we were going to go to brazil then it went bust. I also trained with the national boys indoor team twice.

Off topic but my best mates brother who is a major football fan told me that their cousin was playing at carlton at the same time as Grella and Bresc and he was as good if not better then he went to England to play Championship he got to the club and did trial s and they wnated to sign him but he got homesick and has played Bendigo leage for the rest of his career.

i come from forster which is 2 hours north of newy for people who havent heard it.
i play u16 northern nsw and am captain of my rep side football mid north coast.
i play centre mid and i have a trial with broadmeadow early next year

hot and cold sums us up, the past few years we've made grand finals and this year we came 2nd last.
theres a bloke by the name of simon mooney who plays in the jets YL team, he comes from the comp i do.
theres a fair few from my area down at newcastle, my club is basically a feeder for broadmeadow and a few lower league clubs.
jade north came from my area, though after his latest acts i dunno whether i wanna claim that. im going for the u19's at magic and if i dont get in there toronto and belmont swansea have offered trials aswell

Ah ok. Good luck then. Tough school that is. I was thinkin about trialling for NBN league 17's but I thought about it and I came to the conclusion that I'm happy just playing local league A-Grade with my mates. If its no fun, it isn't worth it. That was my train of thought on that decision.

yeah i can see what u mean, im starting year 11 next year and with all my schoolwork i dunno whether i could be fully committed to soccer, but im gunna give it a go, only live once might aswell make the most of it

Year 11 doesn't count for much if you are going onto year 12 which I have just finished. However, if you don't get your head around the harder concepts earlier on, you'll spend the next 2 years trying to make your way out of the rubble where the bricks have fallen heavily onto you, if you kind of understand my way of looking at it. IMO year 10 is too easy and yr 11 is like a culture shock. I was ok in the end, cos I really picked it up in yr 12 and rescued myself while juggling school, work and football.

Go for it. Its a good opportunity for you. Who knows where you can end up if you do well.

I saw a few Box Hill U13 & U14 games last season. Poor side. I heard that a lot of good players had left the previous season. If you're any good I'd seriously consider joining the exodus and getting yourself into a better club. I don't mean any insult to Box Hill in saying that - simply that there's no point in a good kid playing for a bad side, or a side outside the Super Leagues. The Super Leagues is where we look for the next generation of players.

Three years ago, I played at Gosnells. Despite the fact we had four players playing above their age level, we still won the league by 8 points and were runners up in the finals after dominating the match, the opposition(my current team, Forrestfield United) scored with literally the last kick in normal time, and then scored in extra time. The week after, we played Forrestfield again in the State Cup Final and it was the opposite this time. We were being destroyed, but scored with 5 minutes left to equalize, before we won on penalties. Unfortunately, the coach left and the team broke up.
