I just hope that if he does move to the Ukraine, we dont lose him as a potential Socceroo.

Of all the young players on view at the moment, he has the most potential, with his extraordinary pace and technique. His problem is that he lacks a killer finish. If he can develop that, then we could see one of the most dangerous strikers to pull on a Roo shirt (I refuse to say Socceroo - the term's a second rate leftover from another best forgotten era and we should move on).

like i have mentioned previously ... i think ruka should only move when the time is right ... aka. when he has established himself as a striker reguarly finding the back of the net .. he is still very young ... i think this season and another season .... after next season may be the best time to move for him

hope he has learnt from the lessons of other socceroo potentials who get trapped in eastern europe. it's just not worth it ... hold out for western europe or russia.

Ruka is probably the s**ttest striker I have seen in the A=League. I have seen him miss more sitters than anyone else...........

Ruka is a tallented young player and if he learns to keep his head and matures, he'll be a top class striker. He has potential there.

Did you see him yesterday? First goal wasn't that good admittedly, but his second showed his blistering pace and then he had a cool enough head to slot it past the keeper.

And for worst strikers? You've forgotten Reinaldo, Jardel, Deane and Dragicevic

Hopefully wherever he goes, he learns how to shoot the ball. Though i must admit, he's been pretty good in that regard over the past few weeks.

I don't doubt that if he left Perth Glory he may go to Ukraine. What I was saying is that he is hardly lonely in Perth after living here for quite a time and having family and friends over here. I seriously doubt he would leave Glory for another A-league club.

From what i've seen he is a shit head, and i don't see why a league of such quality would want him. His Ukrainian yes, but why not pick up a better player like Berger.

Is this a joke? Ruka is probaly the best player to watch in the league and this is coming from a Victory supporter! He is so quick with the ball and would have no problem playing in Europe in the near future. Berger is no where near as good as Ruka' mate!

Did you not see him in the olympics? he was so slow he couldn't even swing his foot for a shot. Since i wrote that i have thought a lot less of Berger. I like Jamieson, i think he has fantastic shape and he passes the ball around really well.

Ruka is one of the fastest in the HAL, only surpassed by Zullo and Minniecon imo.

Trust me, he had a shit olympics, but if you have been watching the hal (which you clearly havnt), you will see how good he is.

Oh and i Mile should be next Marquee for someone. He has only played 14 times for Derby and scored 1. Zadkovich seems to be adjusting ok though, took him a while to adjust but he is young and with time to improve.

I read/heard somewhere (a story from a reputable outlet) about a month ago that Viduka has indicated that he intends to finish his career in England.

he could also finish his career in europe somewhere too!! dunno if he come to finish his career back in the a.league but we never know ..dukes would be great tho ..
